• The staff was exceptionally helpful.

“The staff was exceptionally helpful. I was a tourist from America and didn't know much about Sydney. They helped me find restaurants, shops, stores, and the best way to get around the city.”

• Concierge and check in associates extremely helpful!
• Overcharged for continental breakfast, should have been $20 charged $30 couldn't be fixed, and hotel charges $8/30 minutes of internet.

“Very nice lobby, helpful staff, well kept gym area, close to everything. Would be great for a business traveler attending anything at the Convention Center.”

• Location was convenient.
• Reserve nonsmoking room, room stinks like smoke, unable to get resolved until demanding to talk to manager. She fixed it.

“Hotel was in convenient spot for access to Darling Harbor. Could not believe it took such measures as demanding a manager to get our smoky room problem resolved, we felt forced to stay in a smoky room, and this was unacceptable. ”

• The location is great. The staff was very nice. The room was very clean.
• Concierge
  was not very helpful.

“The hotel is located within walking distance of almost every tourist attraction in Darling Harbor. We felt very safe at this location. The staff was very friendly and respectful of our privacy if we requested it. Our room was clean and made up everyday.”

• The room size was wonderful. Bathroom was very large with lots of room.
• The hotel was next to a busy main road and could be noisy at times.

“The hotel met and exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect. Close to darling harbor, china town and the city rail station for catching the train to other areas of the city. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. The bed was wonderful. The bathroom was Hugh with large shower, separate sinks, bathtub and very clean. Bathroom amenities were plentiful. The only draw back for the hotel is the busy main highway out front. Some traffic noise can be heard in the hotel room during peak commute times and the highway distracts from the view. Guests should be aware of this when choosing this hotel although it did not prevent us from having a very nice stay. The staff where nice and very helpful. When they say "no worries" they mean it. Arrived from an international flight at 9:30 am but could not checking until 2:00 p.m. Due to the busy holiday season. I would recommend this hotel and stay there again when returning to Sydney.”

• Polite and helpful. The guest laundry facilities were great. The location excellent.
• No problems noted.

“The hotel staff welcomed us as late arrivals and assisted us to an excellent room with a view of Darling Harbor. The room had internet access and provided late room service for our dinner. They assisted us the next day with a trip to the Zoo and included late check out and baggage storage. Perfect location and view, clean and met all our traveling and tourist needs.”

• Front desk was courteous, helpful, and sharp.
• Couldn't get room svc, Manager did not follow thru on promises.

“This hotel has a very good location to the harbor It is a bit older in the rooms and could use renovating if claiming a 4 star status. Check in was a beautiful experience and maybe I the pleasure of dealing with the only decent staff they had. Shift manager was a joke and didn't follow through on the promises he made to me. I left the place very disheartened due to his lack of effort. I couldn't get room service to ever answer the phone, so plan on eating at the many nearby restaurants if you stay here. A decent 2-3 star hotel in a great location. Don't count on a 4 star experience at the Crowne Plaza Darling Harbor though, so don't pay 4 star prices for it either.”
