• Processing of card payment and subsequent lack of help in sorting the problem.

“My colleague stayed here recently during a visit to Scavenger and one evening I purchased a few drinks from the bar, which game to NOK 280. I was given a receipt for this amount but on checking my statement the hotel had put the transaction through as NOK 2881 (i.e. it had been changed from the amount shown on my receipt by quite a substantial amount). On calling the hotel to try and resolve the problem I was offered no help whatsoever and was told that "someone might be able to look at it next week". Thankfully I kept the receipt and was able to call my bank's VISA Fraud service who have said that I will be able to get my money back, but the service from the Hotel in this matter is appalling and I certainly will not use it in the future. ”
