• MArble bathrooms and health facility

• For Europe, hotel very nice.
• No gift shop.

“For Europe, this was definitely a 5 star hotel. If it was in the US, I would probably consider it 4 star, but that is how it is over there. Staff was nice, room service was very expensive (again prices in Venice are high), room was big and decorated beautifully.”

• Location.
• No ac in the spring.

“However, there are no screens on the windows in the hotel and we had a huge problem with mosquitoes coming into our room, which was no surprise since Venice is surrounded by water. After waking up with numerous mosquito bites after the first night, we opted to leave the windows closed for the remainder of our stay which made the room extremely stuffy. ”

• Staff was incredibly formal but friendly. The location was perfect.
• It was hard to find the entrance to the hotel.

“This hotel was exactly what I expected. It is a Westin hotel but has not lost its Venetian charm.”
