• Loved the garden room.
• Nothing.

“It is situated among buildings in an ideal situation convenient for the main attractions. The garden room we had was on the top floor with a view over the roof tops. It was magical for celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. The staff spoke excellent English and were extremely attentive and helpful. Would not hesitate to go back and would recommend it.”

• Large room with v nice bathroom. Helpful staff. Great buffet breakfast.
• No view from room.

“Great place to stay. Really close to everything. Super friendly and helpful staff. Room was surprisingly large (we had a queen bed actually joined twins plus a fold out for our 3 year old) with a very nice large bathroom. Whole place felt like it had just been renovated. Good buffet breakfast. Not a whole lot of character but very nice.”

• Staff takes good care of you, the location is great and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.
• There's no meal or beverage service after breakfast; it would be nice to have a tea time option or access to the dining room for self-serve.

“The Hotel Beanie is charming. The lobby is warm and inviting and the staff is always available and attentive when you ask for anything - directions, amenities, information, or even tape to secure packages. You leave your key at the front desk to go out and the staff seems to make it a point to remember your room number; it's a nice touch. The hotel is also at the end of Della Pieta street, which leads to the canal and then a short walk to St. Marks square. I didn't see it as a negative that the hotel wasn't right on the canal - which area is a very busy and noisy place most of the time. The private water taxi from the airport takes about 20 minutes (and 90 euro!) To get to the hotel, and although there are less expensive transports, this was a great part of the overall experience.”
