• Location.
• Pay to swim?? - c'mon that's just a plain rip off.

“For a 5 star hotel the Gran Sofia is found wanting. Extras in this hotel are extraordinarily expensive. To swim in the pool is 10 Euro each! Surely it should be free to guests. Also the concierge was almost devoid of any help whatsoever, he recommended an area of the city for restaurants that had none and did not tell us about the voucher scheme, run by the local tour bus, that would have saved us money on tickets for the Nou Camp. The Hotel is very close to the Barcelona ground and is close to rail links. Will we go back in a word no. ”

• a medium 4 stars, with a big CASINO, soft place.
• phone-bill very very overcharged !! rip off !!

“Every thing is not so bad, but PAY ATTENTION to your PHONE-BILL !! here is a RIP-OFF !! From Sofia to Italy they charge 3,60 euro every minute !! a 20 minutes call costs as a day into this Hotel.”
