• Good Location.
• Very late check in at 3 pm and my room was not available until 3.30 pm.

“Conveniently located for business travel. Supermarket across the street. Parking at extra $15 day convenient to hotel. Close to night clubs and restaurants.”

• The hotel had a nice pool, open all day and night.
• Rooms not too big; could be a bit cleaner. Keep two eyes in back of your head.

“My husband and I along with my mother, who is wheelchair bound, stayed at the best western for two nights. First of all, the room was not as big as it seems on the photos, and we had two full size beds instead of queen size beds. The room also had a mild mildew odor. Most disturbing was that my mom left her wallet on the table and a big amount of money was missing when we returned from a family member¿s house. Our mistake was not putting it in the rooms safe. I have to admit that the bathroom was huge and comfortable for a handicapped person. Overall, this is not a hotel I will be returning back to. I hope this review will help someone else who is planning to stay here.”

• Free internet & computers.
• Sticky carpet in rooms, warm but not hot water, very low water pressure.

“The hotel was definitely economy class. The rooms, however, were just unacceptable for my taste. The carpet was generally sticky (perhaps too many chemical cleanings in lieu of overdue replacement), the water would not get hot (only warm), and the water pressure was so low that it took twice as long to shower, brush your teeth, or wash your face! At least they put in the shower curtain bar that curves out for more space, but then, with such low water pressure, it didn't seem to matter. This room was so bad that it made me depressed to be in it. I changed hotels after the first night. Yes, the rates here are cheaper than elsewhere, but not cheap enough to be worth it. I thought it was a bit overpriced considering that you get, well, nothing. However, if you literally just want a place to rest your head and you're pinching pennies, go ahead and stay here. At least it's in the middle of all the city action, although not by the nicer stores like the ones in the commando area.”

• The ambience.
• The front staff at check out time were not very friendly.

“I enjoyed my stay and the staff at the beginning was very helpful. The area is under construction right now so it was a little hectic when you entered outside but the inside was gorgeous.”

• Location to airport. On the buss route to Plaza Las Americas. Close to a supermarket. Renovating improvements. Affordable.
• Old Furniture in hotel room. Carpet had foul smell.

“Enjoyed the generous cable TV channels and free high-speed internet. Staff was helpful and professional. I understand the improvements underway even though the furniture and room fragrance was a bit annoying. However the room was well made. Great hotel staff.”

• The location was the best.
• One of the staff members was rude to answering a few question I had.

“Our flight was delayed and the Hotel kept our reservation reserved. The location is great, they have a parking lot which is very convenient if you have a car. Bombaso is great restaurant to eat authentic Puerto Rican food and it is just around the corner from the hotel. Most of all the staff members are incredibly polite and answer any questions that you have. The swimming pool was open 24hrs. Overall we extremely enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Hotel Pierre in San Juan.”

• Great location, excellent food and good housekeeping.
• Complimentary breakfast poor, T.V reception very poor and transferring calls to room guest poor.
