• I think the hotel was dirty, and needs some serious renovation work

“the staff were overall very polite and helpfull
and food in hotel restaurant was very good

but for the reasons above, would not recommend this hotel”

• Excellent service. Wonderful leisure facilities. Convenient Location.
• Mealtime not long enough. Better menu would be nice.

“I woulddefinitely stay here again. They should be clearer about the importance of having the room card for meals in the bar, or the bar should be able to use the room key as sufficient identification for which room to bill for refreshments.”

• Friendly staff.
• Peeling wallpaper in room. Mould around bath. Needs a refit.

“Excellent central position. Friendly staff. Decent food in on site restaurant.
Room generally clean but out-dated. Hotel generally in need of a refit except for the restaurant and pool area which were very modern.”

• easy access to city centre and general hospital and airport.
• did not get a smoking room as we had requested. creaky floorboards throughout the hotel, it did not bother us but other visitors may complain. lift could be a bit bigger

“overall very enjoyable, clean , service excellent, and hope to be staying with you again in about 6 weeks time when i have my appointment date with the hospital.”

• Thought it represented excellent value for money, good facilities and standard of accommodation.

“Considering we were a stag party we were treated excellently and no differently to any other guests. The Hotel was of a very good standard and the price of a single night stay was excellent value.”

“The water in the swimming pool was cloudy which was not very nice, apart from that we had a very good stay and enjoyed ourselves very much.”

• Hotel shabby, leisure facilities closed early and opened late, no hot water, broken hairdryer, room dated

“I booked this hotel as it had leisure facililties - as I was attending a course in Southampton and travelling alone. The gym closed too early to use on Sat night and opened too late to use on Sun morning. The hotel looked shabby and the room was small and dingy. There was no hot water for my shower on Sat night, and on Sun I discovered the hairdryer was broken. There was a lot of noise at night. This hotel is more expensive that others in the area but of a much lower standard and definitely not value for money.”
