• Continental breakfast was outstanding.
• Evening restaurant wasn't open, and we weren't told.

• Easy to find, budget accomodation with breakfast included. Own shower, etc
• Carpet was in a poor state, sick stains etc, dust and fluff under the beds, a proper hoover would have made a massive difference

• It had all the creature comforts necessary for a comfortable, relaxing stay.
• The bathroom was not sufficiently cleaned (hairs which behind the toilet seat). Proper cleaning was not conducted.

“One hotel receptionist stood out though, her name was Win. She was very helpful, cheerful and most welcoming. Exactly what is to be expected from a HOLIDAY Inn. Certain receptionists lacked that same welcoming enthusiasm, perhaps 'a bad day at the office.' Generally speaking, a great hotel, it is just the little things. An enthusiastic/cheerful receptionist is the first physical point of contact a guest has with the hotel, the receptionist is in effect the Hotel's Ambassodor.”

• Power shower was superb. Reception were very helpful. Easy to find. Plenty of parking
• Room 201 was really noisy, there was drumming noise all night and it was not traffic, it sounded like a generator. Shower stall needs retiling as grouting is dirty.

“It would of been nice to know that no hot food was available either for dinner or breakfast.”

“We enjoyed our stay. The price included breakfast which is not included in some similar hotels of the same price. The stay was totally adequate for what we required.”

• the restaraunt was closed over the weekend which was not made clear on the booking info this was extremely frustrating as we then had to go out and eat which we did not want to do hence the poor score on facilities

“if i had known the restaraunt was closed i would have booked somewhere else this was the only negative on the stay the rest of the experience was generally posotive.”

• Bright, clean hotel, good choice of continental breakfast. Suprised at size of room/bathroom.

“Found the hotel very accessable from Southampton Docks and motorway. Did not chin until very late, 2.30 a.m. following a very stressful journey and staff were very helpful. Overall I was very impressed by the standard of everything and will certainly use your hotels in the future.”

• It was clean and comfortable with good bathroom and washing facilities.

“Entrance to hotel not immediately visible. Lady at reception on arrival also serving in the bar area. This delayed our checkin as we had to wait while several people were served. However this was not her fault as she appeared to be on her own at this time and was helpful and pleasant when serving us.

Rooms were comfortable and clean and breakfast in the morning was good. I would stay in your hotels again and would recommed to others.”

• breakfast was good for what it was but have had better at holiday inns would have liked a hot selection
• we stayed on ground floor so could not leave windows open therefore was to hot to sleep

“my stay was good the staff were helpfull and happy the only thing was the ground floor could do with some sort of airconditioning”

“I would like to be aware that breakfast consisted of a very limited continental selection, I was disturbed to be told that if I didn't get down early it would take a long time to be served. Room only seemed equiped with one persons supplies of tea coffe etc.”

“Always worry about the car parking but here it was excellent and secure. Would have liked to have been able to buy some headache tablets in the hotel as we forgot to pack some. Excellent hotel and would stay again.”
