• Great pool and grounds with Banyan trees.
• Like any old hotel, the bathrooms are small.

“I had a great one week stay at this classic grand old hotel. Our balcony on the fifth floor was right above the tops of the trees in which 200 parrots rested each night. They flew in at sunset, cackled for an hour and went quiet. Each morning at sunrise they cackled again for an hour and then flew off for the day. It was truly beautiful. The staff is extremely attentive and many spoke English. A complete breakfast is included each day adjacent to the huge pool. Driving is tough and SD is not for the faint of heart but offers great rewards to the adventurous traveler. There are caves that have been turned into night clubs. You can dance under stalactites until 3 am.”
