  • Close to city centre. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Gym and pool were great. Restaurants were
    very expensive.

“The hotel was in a great location. After traveling through France and Italy, it was nice not to be right in the centre of the city. We did not use the shuttle bus from the hotel into the city centre as we had a rental car. It was great to use the gym and pool facilities. The rooms were very clean and newly renovated and the facilities were also kept very clean. Great experience overall.”

  • Nice room, great pool.
  • Too far from tourist sites.

“Nice room, with two double beds in each room. Beautiful pool. Free bus into town and to airport. Long way from tourist sites. Hotel bar and restaurant were overpriced.”

  • Excellent, pool & Gym.
  • The "Spa" was closed for renovations. I was very disappointed.

“Both the indoor pool was closed and the spa was closed for renovations.”

  • The rooms were spacious, well decorated and comfortable.
  • The walls were thin - heard a baby crying next door.

“Excellent hotel. Very happy with the service at the front desk and with the amenities. Our room was a Superior King, and it was very spacious and had great decor. The washroom was also large and very clean. Loved the balcony and the view of the pool. Only thing I didn't like was the location. A little out of the way. By the second trip into Rome central, however, we had the bus and subway system figured out and it was easier to get to and from the hotel.”

  • The hotel was all I expected it to be and the indoor pool and spa were great, especially after a long day of sightseeing!
  • The fact that the wireless connections were so expensive.

“The hotel was bright and staff were all friendly and helpful, especially due to the fact that I did no speak any Italian. They helped us find connections to were we wanted to go for the day. The indoor pool and spa were very relaxing at the end of a long day of sightseeing!”

  • I really liked the staff. They were more than willing to help out in any way.
  • The room service pricing was horrible. An order of French fries is 9 euro ($15).

“The hotel itself, along with the staff was great. If it were the season, the pool and other services would have been great. However, the hotel itself is a bit outside of the city center. The free shuttle is great and runs several times a day. But if you want to go anywhere else, it requires a taxi, not cheap. There are no microwaves in the rooms. That coupled with the ridiculous room service prices means you need to bring food to the room. I think I saw 1 grocery market there during my 5 days. We just ordered lots of sandwiches and kept them in the fridge or ensured we ate dinner in town before catching the late shuttle back to the hotel. But, if you have plenty of expendable cash, this hotel is the one for you.”

  • Staff and pool facilities.
  • Room a/c did not work. Not near St. Peter's (10 euro taxi).

“Located approx 15 minutes from St. Peter's, the name was a bit misleading. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were average, but the a/c did not work correctly, and the staff did not remedy the problem. Did have free shuttles to the airport, Vatican, and the center of Rome three times daily. Thought it should be a three-star rating.”

  • Room was spacious and nice. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Transportation was easy. Bus stop located right outside hotel parking lot.
  • Hotel restaurant extremely expensive and food was just ok.

“Overall I enjoyed the hotel. It's beautiful and the staff was very friendly to first time American travelers. There were 3 of us, all 22 year old girls and we never felt uncomfortable at the hotel. The staff was always willing to help us map out our day and show us the best way to get to a location we wanted to get to. The restaurant was extremely overpriced, but I wouldn't let that change your decision to stay at the hotel. I loved it!”

  • It is not a 10 minute walk from Vatican City

“I expected more from a 4 star hotel. It was old. The rooms were not that great. I was under impression it was located closer to Vatican City.”

  • Friendly and helpful staff, especially the concierge desk.
  • Too far from downtown and the center of Rome.

“The hotel has lovely grounds and a welcoming staff. The swimming pool is huge, clean, and very inviting. The hotel is a taxi or bus ride to the center of Rome. There are not many restaurants nearby. The rooms are very clean, and the hotel feels quite safe. I only wish it were closer to the Vatican, the Coliseum, the Forum, etc.”
