“Nice, not as clean as I would like and the food was good. The comforters were not changed out regularly and the room was cleaned, but I could have cleaned much better. I was always telling my kids to get off the floor. We had the concierge, but it was a joke and not worth the extra money. The kid pools were good and the childcare was awesome for 4year old and up. They had activities planned all day for my 4year old and he couldn't wait to get there everyday; however, for my 18 month old, she rarely went as all they did was stay in the daycare all day and watch TV.” Nov 10, 2008 by

“When we arrived, we waited more than 30 minutes in the lounge after a long flight and 2 hr bus ride with our 3 children. We were then escorted up the 3 flights of steps to our Junior Suite. The crib that we requested was not in the room and the concierge thought that they were out of cribs. He finally found one. There were steps everywhere! This place is not handicap or stroller friendly. Since we were on Eastern time and the resort is in the Central zone, the children were very hungry before the dining room was open. No significant snacks were available so we had to sit down for a lunch at the Grill restaurant when the kids were hungry. Our other option was ice cream or cereal from the Bayside. Fruit was not even available. Lines at the Venetian restaurant made it impossible for us to try. Although the food was generally good at the Bayside, some of the food appeared recycled (curried mutton 3 nights in a row, etc). You can wash and dry a load of clothes for $10 in a dirty, wet room. Not very discreet- something passed in a conch shell. When the kids went to play limbo, they only walked and not limboed under the stick about 3 times and then stood in a line for approximately 15 minutes while staff at Beaches enjoyed a game of real limbo. There were only 2 bars and both were at the main pool. It was very inconvenient when we were mostly at the kiddie pool and water slides. At the beach, I believe beverages were served but this was mostly unattended. There is no snorkeling on the beach. Nets are surrounding the beach to prevent swimmers from going near the water sports and fish from going near swimmers! Fish seen on the glass bottom boat were about 2 inches at most (our fish tank is more exciting). However, if you like sea urchins, you'll be pleased. Bring your own floats and beach toys. Gift shop does have things like diapers, clothes, toys and some over-the-counter. Staff was smiley but not always helpful. Overall, we made the most of it but I was so glad to get home.” Feb 18, 2008 by

“The resort staff and the people in Jamaica were great! The rooms were ok...lot's of wear and a little muggy. The food was awesome! There are five places to eat on the location which offer something for everyone. I am a VERY picky eater and did not have a bad meal the entire time I was there (6 days). NOW..on to the bad side. The Beach was terrible. For two reasons. 1. The area to "swim" at was so small you could not even get in deep enough to be wast deep. 2. There were Jamaican men a.k.a. DRUG DEALERS floating in the water all day long. This was a family resort and I saw at least 5 drug deals go down while I was there. UNACCEPTABLE BEACHES! COME ON? Their vibe was crappy and very hard to ignore..they sit there and float and stare at you until they make some kind of communication with you. This is not what I wanted. I wanted to be left alone in the water. Everything else was great! But I will never go back there because of the vibe those men gave off. Lot's of pool space...but forget about the beach!” Nov 5, 2005 by

“We had a great week at Boscobel! Our expectations were set by both price and the fact that we were travelling with kids. In other words, we weren't looking for the ultra luxury. Out of 5 stars, it earns a solid 3.5. The key staff members were fantastic, being extremely attentive and very friendly. They go out of their way to make you feel like you're the most important people on the island. Food had a nice selection across a number of restaurants. One is a buffet, and while the "sides" got a bit repetitive, the main entrees changed each day and we were never disappointed. Though the resort itself is smaller than other all inclusives, there was plenty to do for both adults and kids alike (ours were 13, 10 and 7). The X-Box room and other activities gave them plenty to do when they needed a break from the two pools and ocean. Hotel Representatives:
