• Very outdated rooms, rude staff, not accommodating at all.

“I reserved a room at this "4-star-hotel" for myself and my fiancée. We arrived only to be told that we would not be given a room with one bed but rather a room with two beds. We were finally given a room with one bed but we were forced to pay 55 euros extra! If they have rooms available, it is outrageous to be expected to pay an additional fee!”

“This hotel is not a 4 star hotel. Room was very outdated, old carpets, old furniture and noisy. The window are very thin and you can hear outside.”

“Worst Hilton I have ever stayed in. Rooms either had no heat or were continual ovens. Thermostats do not work. Staff inept at resolving problem - ended up with a space heater in my room.”

“This hotel is located within 2-3 blocks of the Tower. We could see 2/3 of it from our room window. The hotel is nice and the staff did there best with English translation versus us not able to speak French well. No regrets.”

“Very surprised at how clean and upscale the hotel was. It was right next to Eiffel tower with a beautiful view of it. Additionally it was a comfortable walking distance from numerous Cafes.”

“Our stay at the Hilton Paris couldn't have been better! We booked just for 1 night (valentines day) and were very happy. I've stayed in many hotels across Europe and this one tops them all. Great English speaking staff, even upgraded us from 2 twins to a queen, and were able to get us a room early (our flight landed at 6:30 am). Oh and of course you're RIGHT across the street from the Eiffel Tower. As you're walking to the hotel from the train stop (also very easy to get around on), you don't notice the tower until you look down one of the side streets off your left, and BAM!, there it is. Couldn't have asked for a better V-Day!”

“Extremely friendly bi-lingual staff. Excellent location for sightseeing near Eiffel Tower. Room was very comfortable except for drafty windows. Wouldn't be a problem in summer but in winter, it made the room cold and there was condensation on the inside of the windows every morning.”

“Great location 1 block from RER C Champs de Mars station and the Eiffel Tower but the rooms need refreshing/updating. The hotel restaurant and bar were insanely over-priced, but the Club Lounge was fantastic. Reception upgraded us as we're Gold Hilton Honors members, so we were able to get an Eiffel Tower view room.”

• The building was old and heating system's fan was noisy and on all the time.

“The Hilton near the Eiffel Tower is a great bargain four star hotel near all of the major attractions. You can almost walk to all of the major museums and tourist attractions. A Subway station only 5 minutes away so any part of the city easily accessible. The staff was very friendly and the interior is new. However, the building is old (~30 years) and could do with some renovation to make it truly a four star hotel inside and out.”

• Bar was so expensive, even for pairs.

“Had a great time, staff was very accommodating. bed was very hard, but one mention to the front desk and staff improvised padding that made bed into a little bit of heaven. wouldn't have been able to afford. What a great second honeymoon.”

• Not many restaurants or shops in the area.

“A bit out of the way from the action but there are 2 metros just out the door. Very quiet location, clean rooms, and the best concierge by far. I would definitely stay here again. Very pleasant experience!!”

• Room maid was not very attentive every day she forgot something else.

“Very nice hotel which is super close to the Eiffel tower. we could be there in five minutes and fell asleep in our beds with the view of the tower. Staff was very friendly.”

• Two separate beds for a married couple, come on!!

“The hotel was in a great location. The staff were friendly. However, I was very disappointed to find out that our room had two single beds for a married couple. Also, the room was in the back of the hotel with no view. If I was traveling to Paris again, I would not use this hotel for a romantic trip. Also, a cheaper rate was available for the hotel which included a free breakfast. The breakfast cost an additional 31 euros per person.”

• Very good location, right next to Eiffel tower.
• A little bit old, two little beds pushed together to make a big bed but they can get separated easily.

“Very nice location, very good and friendly service, beautiful bathroom. The only drawback was the beds, which made cuddling rather a challenge since the two little beds separated very easily.”

• Had problems with rooms keycard; not on a real convenient metro line.

“We loved this hotel! After a few previous disappointing hotel stays in Paris, we were thrilled with this hotel in every aspect. Nicely decorated, friendly staff who spoke English, many amenities, newly renovated rooms, wonderful beds (down pillows and duvets!) and you couldn't ask for a better view! Our room was on the 9th floor overlooking the Eiffel Tower, breathtaking!”

“The location of the Paris Hilton is excellent, close to a RER station and a metro station. The staff is helpful, efficient and courteous. Prices of the mini-bar and restaurant were a bit high for my taste, but in line with other 4-star hotels. I will return as a customer. I would recommend this hotel to new and returning visitors to Paris.”

• Great location, easy to find using car, and conveniently next to the RER and Metro.
• Exorbitant internet access fees.

“The view of the Eiffel Tower is possible with this hotel and it is situated next to the RER and Metro subway stops. I highly recommend it for business travelers, although the internet access was exorbitant at $30 per day, much higher than the other Hiltons I've stayed.”

• Excellent view of the Eiffel Tower from my window.
• It is obviously older & in need of renovation/update.

“Great location for the Eiffel Tower and the Champs Elysees. However, if you plan on walking everywhere, there are more centrally located hotels in the city -- the walk to the Louver took 45 minutes, luckily it was along the Seine. The concierge was very helpful, as expected from a Hilton property. Unfortunately, he only recommended very expensive places, but did secure reservations at the last minute.”

• Room service a little pricey, great eats right around the corner.

“The room was great. Spacious, clean, nice bed, operable window, superb bath, top drawer linens and duvet and towels. And the desk staff was as good as could be, very friendly, all spoke enough English to be helpful. Couldn't have been happier. Location is tops, see #69 bus, for tourists like us. No family charm, but it was a relief to have a great clean room and bath after a day at the Louvre. And the Luna Italian restaurant around the corner was world class and reasonably priced. Feel confident that you will be very comfortable.”

• Very Expensive extras like internet and phone service.

“Great Hotel, great location. Every morning you walk out to the Effiel Tower. It is 2 blocks away from the batobus, a hop on hop off tour boat. It is also close to the metro. The rooms are HUGE for European standards. The only draw back is it extras are very expensive like $30 for breakfast, $2.50 for any phone connect, and $50 for the internet. But, there are restaurants really near that have French cafes really close. So, it is still a great deal!! I would definateley go back again!”

• Is away from most sites except Eiffel Tower. Not as convenient as some from airport.

“Hotel is clean, secure and has friendly staff and normal Hilton size rooms. Not as convenient as some to people coming from CDG airport. Requires using the subway system easy or some good length walking to get to major sites. 4-5 good places for breakfast in a one block area in sidewalk cafe atmosphere .”
