• Friendly. Superb rooms.
• Not very friendly landlady. Food overpriced for what it is.

“Excellent accommodation and location. Helpful, friendly bar manager (pity the landlady isn't). Food was nothing special. Staff asked me twice how I'd enjoyed my meal. Told them mine was tough and fatter than meat. Said they'd pass on my comments but didn't offer anything else. (No point in them asking then). Stayed one night then paid the bill to the owner the following morning that didn't bother to ask if we'd enjoyed our stay. Would recommend you try the B&B's in the village who may value your custom more rather than take the view they're doing you the favor. Just go to the punchbowl for a drink.”
