• The pool bar & open lobby.
• Beach was not nearly as nice as beach in Negril. Our room was noisy & no view.

“We have stayed here twice Feb 2006 & Feb 2008 for 8 days each time. The 1st visit included 4 adults and was very relaxing & lots of fun. Since the roads aren't good, it took forever to get anywhere. In Feb 2008, based on the good time we had in 2006, there were about 20-25 of us. I was somewhat disappointed, as the resort was undergoing construction & we hadn't been notified this would be the case while we were there. We waited forever to get our room, no view, & noisy all the time. Next time, we will stay in Negril, as the beaches are much nicer. Sandy beaches, not only out of the water, but in the water. It may be further to travel from the airport, but will be worth it. I had expected more from Sunset beach resort, or at the least the same as our 1st vacation there. Take my advice, go to Negril.”

• Close to cruise ship port, water park.
• Cost for day pass is too much.

“We have been here twice as day visitors. We traveled by cruise ship. Last year the day pass was $40 per adult and $20 per child. Now they charge $64 adult and $30 for a child. It truly isn't worth it. For this amount we could visit Beaches or Sandals.”

• Everyone there was so nice felt comfortable anywhere I was and the service was great
• there were not to many things that I disliked

“it was one of the best times of my life. About 30 of my classmates went down on our senior trip. I had so much fun I cant even tell you how much fun it was. all the activities that were going on like pool Olympics”

“This resort was fantastic and I cant wait to return! The picturesque beaches are fantastic and the clear blue waters are unbelievable. Their is something for every member of the family to experience. The staff at the hotel are wonderful, friendly and attentive I have made some great friends for when I next return. Thank you Sunset resort & spa resort for the perfect holiday!”

• I loved the pool with the swim up bar.
• I would have liked someone to bring drinks to me when i got to lazy to swim up to the bar.

“We went for one week, March 12-19th. There were four of us. Myself, my husband and his brother and wife. We had an awesome time. Our rooms were fantastic, right on the ocean and very clean. The water pressure did get low when the cruise ships were in port. But we never needed to shower until after 6:00 anyways, and that is usually when they left. The pools were great. Especially the swimup bar. We all thought the food was very good. The staff was awesome also. We all would go back. It was just an wonderful time from begining to end.”

• staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome
• hotel was a bit rundown

“Pipe broke in Italian restaurant when we were eating dinner. Restaurant filled with brown foul smelling water .Phone service is very poor to make call to U. S. Spa services were great .Food at buffet is mediocre at best.Beach is nice Clear blue water nice white sand . Views were spectacular.”
