• The only thing that makes this hotel reasonable is its location next to the airport.
• Accommodations are less than adequate for the price paid. Service is poor to fair.

“My first impression was that it was going to be a reasonable place. When I was there, much construction (remodeling) was in progress, and it was quite dirty and noisy. They also put us in a room right next to the cafe and the odor from the kitchen was horrible! I would stay here again just because it's so close to the airport (walking distance) and it makes traveling through Moscow a little easier. Though if you're going to the center (red square, etc.), the travel time from the hotel to the center is quite long. The bus is the cheapest way to go, but takes longer. Taxi is ridiculously priced (but normal for Moscow it appears) and is the quickest. The last option is the shuttle buses (about 12 passenger van). They're definitely reasonably priced, slower than taxi, but faster than the big bus. But if you're traveling with baggage (luggage), it's very inconvenient because the shuttles are usually very crowded.”

• It is conveniently located near the airport. Staff is friendly but still you can feel the old Soviet atmosphere.
• The water in the bath tub was brown and the TV was all in Russian and the wireless was only working in the lobby.

“In addition to what I have said above, I would stay here in the future, in spite of the minor negative things.”

• Close to airport; had free internet access.
• Old Soviet era hotel; no A/C, brown water, stained rugs and bed covers.

“Only stay here if you either can't afford or cannot get a room at the Novotel across the street. This is old Soviet Russia - awful, disgusting. Avoid this hotel!”

• Location was perfect for flying out, very clean and efficient.
• Staff was indifferent, office facilities not available as advertised.

“The hotel, on first appearance, was excellent. It was an older Russian concrete-style construction, but renovated very effectively. It was clean and well furnished. On the other hand, the staff was not rude, but very indifferent. Their office center was not open on the hours that it was supposed to be open, which was an inconvenience for us. Their food and drink was expensive, thought it was consistent with other locations at or near the airport.”
