• very clean and pleasant surroundings. comfortable room
  pleasnt and friendly staff especially in the restuarant, could not do enough for you.

• Location of Hotel - easy to locate Good quality at reasonable price
• Due to time of year, restaurant was very busy and need to queue too long at the carvery in the evening.

• Ease of locating hotel from the motorway

“overall a very pleasant stay - have booked future accomadation in this hotel for this year and will be booking for a few nights in the new year. The only problem I had was that I ordered a full english breakfast with room service and this was cold when it arrived.”

• Very comfortable, good breakfast, warm hotel well placed and entertainment in evenings was very good.
• everything was good

“Very pleasant experience we had a party of 14 staying in 7 rooms over a weekend to attend a wedding at another local hotel. The hotel overall was excellent and no complaints from any memebrs of the party other than one cold shower, onemorning that would not appear to heat up. Otherwise everything was brilliant, entertainment of an evening suited all our party ranged in age from 14 years up to mid seventies and if you wanted quite you could have it as well. Would definitely stay again”

“Overall,accommodation very good.The only down side was that i requested non-smoking rooms when booking online,only to be told on
arrival that their wre no non-smoking rooms available!!!!!!!!!
An excellent buffet style breakfast.”

• excellent room with sofa
• poor maintenance.phone didn't work for contacting another room. lamp didn't work. gaps around the bath where mastic should be. bathroom heater didn't work

“Good hotel, lovely location.
Staff very helpful and friendly.
The shower was wonderful

Poor maintenance took the shine off the stay.
Not enough breakfast staff to refill used items, tea etc.

But will definitely stay again as all the main elements for a great stay are there. Just needs a little attention.”

• Food was great but pricey some staff really helpful and courteous
• heat heat heat. Terribly uncomfortable in all areas of hotel.

“I asked for a smoking room was given a non smoking room. I asked for a daily mirror and no paper was delivered on the first day. I asked for some assistance to alleviate the stifling heat on the second night I was told they would see what they could do - i heard absolutely nothing.

Not really impressed.”
