• Zero!
• A small executive room. Dull and old wallpaper, oversized single bed. Old TV, that did not work. Reported nothing done. Cancelled my follow up visit - sooner stay at a travel lodge

• Good location in the City Centre. Slightly less expensive than other close by hotels.
• Room unfortunately looked out over the back of other buildings, so not much to look at.

• The receptionist was brilliant - very helpful to an exhausted late arriver!
• dodgy sockets and none near the bedside table. layout of bathroom. no internet connection in room.

“Enjoyable - had I arrived earlier, the lack of sockets and internet connection might have been a problem, but overall, as a regular hotel-user, I was happy. The receptionist was brilliant - unfortunately I don't remember her name, but she deserves a pat-on-the-back!”

• Lovely clean double suite room, all night service for food. Prompt and very polite service from staff.
• Pretty expensive, radiators didn't warm room up enough, tv remote not working.

“We stopped in the double suite room and it was certainly one of the best hotel rooms I've stopped in before! The room was large with plenty of soft lighting which looked fantastic at night. There was a large screen television in there which had plenty of Sky channels on it. The bathroom was smart, reminded me of a Spanish style with tiles all the way around.
The hotel staff were very pleasant and took time to answer any questions we had (including directions to various places) and the breakfast dining room was very smart and tidy.

The only real minus to our stay was the fact that the room could have been warmer at night and in the morning. The radiators were on but the room did seem a little too cold really, although not enough to spoil our stay there.

At '115 for the night, it was a little expensive but then again, I've stopped in more expensive hotels and found them to be no-where near as nice as the Strathdon Hotel so looking at it that way, it is good value.
The breakfast had a decent mix of food available and was very nice, and the bar and lobby were very comfortable to sit in.

I did hear that parking costs extra at this hotel but we came down on the train so it didn't affect us.

I would recommend this hotel and would stop there again no question.”

• The staff were helpful, tne hotel was clean, and there was a hospitality tray in the room.

“I thought the information on the website included everything you would need to know, except about car parking - this is at an additional cost of '7 per 24hr period. In addition there is a hospitality tray in the room which is replenshied every day.”

• Comfortable. Good selection of breakfasts. Reasonable menu for evening meal in hotel.
• Traffic noise was intrusive despite double glazing.

“No parking at hotel, would have been useful to know before booking. Method of reducing parking charge at affiliated car park not quite clear on the first night.”

“'75.00 seemed really expensive for the size of room on a weekend stay.
Check-in staff were not terribly welcoming. Check-out staff on the Sunday morning were even worse. Night staff were much more fun and seemed the only employed personnel pleased to see us during the course of our stay.”

• clean, decent size considering price, good friendly efficient service and GREAT breakfast !
• slightly further from the station than i would have liked but the exercise did me good !

“This is a good value for money hotel. You get what you pay for but it feels like a nice safe hotel compared to some others i have been to. The staff were friendly and helpful if you need anything. Near to the town centre. WIll be returning whenever i go to Nottingham.”

• Suitable for working trip, without being impersonal.
• A lot of trafic noise, but you are in the centre of town.

“Definatley use this hotel in the future for business trips, but will not reccommend to anybody who is a light sleeper. One of the better hotels stayed in over the past 8 months!”
