• High pitched whistle for 10 mins at 0500. no cold water 0600-0730

“I do not understand the very high pitched whistle coming from the corridor at 0500. It was painful to the ears. Cold water shut off at 0600 and returned 0730 (16/5/05) quite annoying.”

• Easy to find
• Walls are too thin, I could here the people next to me.

“The Evening menu is very 'precise' It would be nice to have other choices, not just a few unheard of dishes, that look good on a menu!”

• Basic, clean everything needed eg hairdrier provided

“Helpful staff. provision for late check in, just make sure you call, reception closes at 11. Food in-house as good as any local restaurant. Bed comfortable, what more could you ask for the price?”

• It was convenient and comfortable
• Difficulty getting into the room and no towels - but these were promptly attended to by the staff

“This was a one night stay for a family funeral the hotel provided everthing we could have needed in the light of that occasion. The room appeared to have been recently refurbished and so was bright and fresh, and with the special offer was very good value for money.”

• The location was ideal for my business visit. The food in the resturant was excellant. Very prompt anf friendly service in all areas.
• The room had not been checked prior to allocation.

“The initial room allocated to me, had not been cleaned. However this was rectified immediately I notified the reception, I was very impressed with the way the staff responded to the problem.

My stay was very pleasant, and I will use this hotel in the future.”

• very comfatable room
• no hot water & noisy boiler thru the night,right next to a noisy main road

“this is a comfatable hotel at reasonable cost,had a boiler problem at the time of my stay which prevented me from showering,but full refund was given.
i would use this chain again.”

• Value for money
• Breakfast was dissappointing. Hot buffet not refilled,poor choice of fresh fruit.

“Good value for money, our room had been refurbished, so was nice & fresh. Breakfast should be hot & available. This is the second occasion when there just hasn't been anything hot to eat.”

• Restaurant excellent value for money

“Although not luxurious the rooms are adequate and good value for money.

The restaurant was very reasonably price and good quality, although the service could have been improved. There was a considerable gap between meals arriving, basic error in the restaurant trade.”

• simple, yet smart and clean. convenient to local venues. friendly staff.

“all staff are very welcoming from reception to housekeeping. a hotel room is only for sleeping, so a no pretence hotel is perfect, clean simple but smart and comfortable! will be back.”

• Easy parking
• The bathoom was dirty. Hair in the bath and sink. Towels were damp.

“In general it was ok. Staff was friendly but could do with some more english lessons.”
