• Generally clean & spacious accomodation with an efficient shower
• Stain on carpet next to bed where a previous occupant had spilt something.

• Accommodation was clean. Info from net regarding hotel met expectations.Staff were polite and efficient.
• Beds were uncomftable, and the rooms were not soundproofed enough.

• Breakfast was not freshly served and had stood a while. Unusual odour in corridors

“A good hotel at a good price. Modern and idealy located for Trafford and amenities. The lack of bath was a negative considering the size of our room. Modern hotel with pleasant decor.”

“My husband had already been to the hotel before so we knew it was excellent and we were not dissappointed. We would come again and recomend it to friends.The breakfast was wonderful with plenty of choices for any appetite. We did not have the evening meal but I am sure it was up to the same standard. The staff were freindly, courteous and helpful.”

“I frequently stay in hotels both for business and pleasure and this hotel is faultless. Excellent friendly ,professional staff and clean rooms together with an excellent breakfast make this probably the best hotel to date.”

• Spacious room,comfortable beds and friendly staff.

“Location of hotel was perfect for our needs - proximity to the Trafford Centre and still within easy reach of Manchester city centre.
Hotel is easy to find and is attractive and welcoming.
Rooms are clean and very comfortable although the addition of 1 or 2 more comfortable chairs would be welcome in the double executive rooms.
Staff are friendly and efficient - such a pleasant change from some of the other large hotel groups.”

• The Fantastic customer service from the staff and the appearance and cleanliness of the facility!
• Nothing. Loved everything about the accomodations.

“Words can not begin to explain how wonderful, helpful, and friendly the staff members where from the moment I called to confirm reservations until my departure. I have worked in a lodging operation before and the customer service that was provided at the Tulip Inn was outstanding. They made me feel welcomed and seemed genuinely concern about my comfort and entertainment value. Location is a short drive into town centre and across the street from the Trafford Centre where you can do some very nice shopping. There is nothing wrong i can say about my experience. I plan to visit Manchester more often, and i will definitley stay at the Tulip Inn. Not only that, I will advise/recommend this hotel to everyone. Special thanks to all that made my stay enjoyable”

“reception were friendly, but was not made aware of how to slot card into wall to operare lights/power, so had to visit reception. Was not told how to get out of car park, so had to re-visit reception (park up again). Was not told about breakfast, had to re-visit reception and they gave me a voucher, was not told anything about the cost and i presumed because of this there was no charge, which was not the case. They were v friendly but could have done with telling me these things at check in as it did waste my time.”

• Clean modern room with all facilities required for a business stay
• Quite long check in process having to show photo i.d.

• Room size was very good, shower excellent.
• Bed was a little soft in the centre.

“I realise that you have set check-in times for a reason (cleaning rooms etc.) ButI was slightly surprised to be told (quite bluntly) at 13:50 that no rooms were available until 2pm. It's a small thing but I've never had it happen to me anywhere else.”

• Very comfortable and more than reasonable for the rate paid.

“I think rooms are allocated on arrival. When booking on-line we had requested a twin (double double) room but for some reason, possibly that we had a child (4 years old), we were offered a double with a cot!!!! Not really suitable for us but they quickly re-allocated us the room that had been booked.

Also as we were shopping in central Manchester we needed somewhere to park the car. We called in advance and the hotel were more than happy to let us park the car there from early morning, allowing us to make altenative arrangements to get into Manchester.”

“The distance from the hotel to the Trafford Centre.Due to health problem's it is handy to know how far away it is and,if I had known how near it is I would not have worried as much as I did.”

• Good basic facilities in the room for the price
• No food service on the 30th Oct and access to Trafford dangerous due to traffic lights out.

“Web booking not clear on room types. Missed the twin double info but I then arranged to change one room to a twin double by phone. On arrival no twin double was available so my grown up daughters has to share a double. Irritating only.

Following a complex family shopping day we were very angry and let down to find the restaurant and room service was closed for some unexplained reason on 30th October. The traffic lights by the Trafford Centre mad junctions were also out making a road crossing for food highly dangerous. A Pizza delivery was the only option. If you must close the restaurant at least buy in some sandwiches as an option for hungry guests after a busy day.”

• Easy to reach and park. Convenient location. Very clean and quiet hotel. Excellent staff.
• The restaurant isn't up to much at all.

“This particular hotel would benefit greatly by putting in a decent restaurant as what they have now barely qualifies as a sub-standard shopping mall food court kiosk, however if guests are prepared to eat elsewhere, this hotel is a great place to stay.”

• Over all i will say it was good.
• breakfast was not included, and no bath.

“It was an good experience to stay in this hotel, it would have been nice to have room service for breakfast, and to add few more channels on T.V. i just like its close to trafford center easy excces to town ans shopping area. i didnt had any information about swimming pool and all facilities, how to go there. do we have to pay for these facilities.”

• we were not informed of facilities available to us to use, quite smokey downstairs and in restaurant area.

“I booked online, but when we arrived to check in the receptionist had no information on her system about us at all. Luckily the hotel was quiet or we may not have been able to get a room.

When we checked out, we were charged '69.80 for the night, rather than the '45 advertised on the internet, although this was rectified before we left.

Overall I felt very disappointed.”
