• A quiet and cosy hotel staff very pleasant excellant service all round
• ample parking facilites, good location for the city centre,public transport quite near to hotel.

• very friendly and helpful staff, interesting decor, jacuzzi-like bath unexpected!
• room was small but we didnt pay much so was expected, no remote for tv was a bit annoying. strange noise at intervals throughout night.......

• The staff were very friendly and attentive.
• There was no remote control for the television.

“Although on a fairly busy road the hotel was peaceful and welcoming. All the staff were friendly and cheerful. There was a varied choice of breakfasts served by an attentive waitress.”

• old world charm, good charachter to the building
• all the stairs

“hotel great, every thing we needed was there. Liked it that they put our rooms together. Breakfast was first class, and service good. Cloce enough to city centre and close to main road. Parking facilities too.”

“when we arrived at the hotel the room was not ready as someone was fixing the sink? the room was freezing cold and we had to ask staff twice to come and switch the heating on , this therefore meant we could not spend any time relaxing in our room and had to go out almost immediatly. the staff however were very friendly and went out of their way to help rectify the situation, although we felt we should of been given another room.”

“We were going to the evening reception of a wedding in Haleys Hotel. There were no reasonably priced rooms left in the Haleys so I followed the web link to Butlers.
It proved ideal for our short visit.”

• The friendliness of the staff, the cleaniliness of the room and the ease of booking. PERFECT. Thank you.
• The Jacuzzi bath was very small but then that cant be helped!

“I think that it would be helpful to know the size of the room before you book. It was a lot smaller than I had anticipated but it was cute and cozy. Great room!”

• staff were excellent and so was the food!!
• No hot water or heating until midnight! Staff did everything they could but they could not get it working till midnight

• Three flights of narrow stairs to room. Room very small

“The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. However the room was up 3 flights of very narrow stairs and was very small. The decor was extremely dated but clean. I would only recommend it for a 1 night stay.”

• Friendly staff in a homely environment with clean facilities
• The booking form supplied via e-mail contained an inacurate phone number making contact difficult and some of the public areas require refurbishment

“The location of this hotel provide a quite haven in a busy city with pleasant surroundings and plesant staff.”

• good hearty breakfast and ample parking
• lock on toilet didn't work
