• hygiene of the hotel and room was great, and staff where friendly throughout
• mini bar in the room wasnt packed or full and wld have to ring and get it packed if so

“very good hotel, and in a good area. reasonable prices for such a nice hotel and in a good location, no problems encountered what so ever and wld def reccomend it to anyone, no matter what age or sex”

• Excellent location, great built-in pub, excellent basic room facilities.
• Unwatchable TV, easily fixable by taking terrestrial channels from the built-in cable/satelite feed. Prefunctory staff help.

• Rooms were different to most hotels. Interior woodwork,heating controls and we enjoyed the view!
• The shower was very poor.

“If the shower appliance was improved i would certainly stay there again.”

• good location.nice hotel.i would return to this hotel

“there was no record of my reservation at first through active hotels.although the reception staff accomodated me in the end.had the hotel been fully booked out though it may have caused some problems.
overall an enjoyable stay in liverpool.good location for the hotel,close to city centre.friendly staff at hotel too”

• 411 comfortable and had everything we needed. Best thing was view of the Liver Building.
• Car park not well signed.

“Staff helpful, hotel comfortable, staff friendly. Lift disturbing as it said Thrird Floor when in fact it was 4th Floor!”

• the view!!
• room a bit small, even though we went for a club room!!

“Wasn't too happy to find that when we arrived the day after booking online through Active and receiving a confirmation number!!!, that we were not infact booked in. Luckily, there were spare rooms available, thank goodness as it was quite late when we arrived. Amanda”

• The view. The room. the freedom of movement. The breakfast.The location.
• Expensive drinks. No atmosphere in the evening - nobody dining. Stark foyer. Clothy bar

“The hotel was adequate for 2 nights though I wouln't stay longer because you have to go out in the evenings as the place becomes a ghost town. I usually enjoy relaxing in the bar areas in hotels stays but this wasn't possible here because there was literally nobody there. Staff were efficient and polite. The breakfast was very good and the location lends itself to easy walks either into town at night or onto the Pier Head.

Would definitely stay again but only at a discounted rate.”

• The room was comfortable and the staff were very pleasant and helpful
• The view of the building site ! The food was a little bit on the expensive side

“I would have liked to have known about the building site as the room overlooked it. Overall it was a pleasant place to stay. The room was a little bit on the small side and the food was a bit on the pricy bit in regards to the size of the portions.”

“Parking was a huge problem. I had arranged to meet 2 people for a drimk in the bar only to find it was closed during the afternoon. The buffet breakfast was disappointing from the food being somewhat dry, no option for fish and I am still waiting for the pot of tea to arrive despite being asked whether I wanted tea or coffee twice!”

• prefer cooked breakfast

• Friendly efficient checkin / checkout, good breakfast. Nice view over the Mersey.
• grotty expensive bar, and see below!

“Somewhat tatty room described as a delux upgrade when we arrived. At about 11pm we discovered the bed was infested with small drak brown bitting beetles. My partner as subsequently exhibited bite marks on her legs, arms and back. The staff changed us to a different room which was much nicer than the original - a business class room I'd guess.”
