• Very clean, good location, nice-sized room.
• Cold water tap didn't work right, AC was broken during my stay. Bed kind of springy.

“I would definitely stay in this hotel again if I got a good deal on Priceline. It was very close to public transport (subway and buses) and there were many restaurants and shops around. The room was clean and comfortable. However, the ac didn't work while I was there. It wasn't hot but after I was through lugging my things from the tube station to the hotel, I was looking forward to cranking up the AC. Also the cold water tap was broken and even if turned all the way on, it would only drip. They offered to move me to another room for the next night but since I only stayed two days, I didn't think it was worth switching.”

• Beautiful twin room, great view and
  good sized bed.
• Elevator noise.

“Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Good sized room with bigger than usual twin beds. Good linens.”

• Its location and the quality.
• Was a little too far out.

“This was an excellent hotel. The area around the hotel has numerous restaurants, shops, grocery and drug stores, etc. There is good access to other London locations via bus, and also by subway. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• Staff was very friendly and hotel was in a great location.
• Non-smoking room was on a floor that smelled like smoke.

“The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodated a really early arrival by upgrading us to a better room that was ready! 5 minutes to Angel tube in a nice area with lots of shopping and dining options. Very large, nice American style rooms - my best hotel experience in London so far!”

• Location of the hotel was great. Nice street with lots of good places to eat.
• Expensive internet, no terrace.

• Clean, modern, quiet, comfortable, great staff, great neighborhood.
• No lobby lounge space; on-site restaurant very expensive and ordinary.

“The Hilton Islington is a terrific find: perched in the heart of a bustling, lively London neighborhood just outside the city center, close to a Tube stop and a big handful of bus routes, and run by pleasant, accommodating personnel. The rooms are average-sized by European standards (small by American ones) but recently renovated and very well appointed with flat-screen TV, in-room coffee/tea/water, iron, and modern bathroom with good water pressure. Some rooms have no view.”

• Location was nice (Londoners' neighborhood), good tube connections, good shops, restaurants and cafes nearby.
• Some of the people at front desk were quite reserved.

“Good location (near city but far enough). Good shops, restaurants and cafes nearby. Large rooms and beds which is not usually the case in London hotels. Excellent buffet breakfast. Friendly concierge. Newsletters available.”

• Staff was very friendly. My cousin loved the cookies.
• No shuttle to airport. Room had one, not two, double beds for two people.

“Clean, friendly staff. I was expecting two beds with a double room, but there was only one good thing I like my travel buddy!”
