“My husband and I just returned from Villa Montana Beach Resort and had a lovely time. We had the chance to attend a destination wedding as my cousin was getting married at the resort. This was also a great opportunity to sneak in a get away with my husband. It was a hassle free direct flight from Ft. Lauderdale into the Aguadilla airport. To our surprise my cousin had arranged through the resort to have all of her guests picked up in a town car, this saved us from renting a car but it was available if we needed it. It was a short drive, only fifteen minutes or so down rural roads and as we turned the corner there was this beautiful Caribbean paradise, I can see why my cousin chose this location for her most important day. Our Villa had breathtaking views of the crystal blue Caribbean Sea, and from our private verandah we enjoyed amazing sunsets that we still talk about. The wedding was beautiful overlooking the ocean at dusk. The staff made us feel welcomed and they always had a hello and a warm smile as you passed them around the grounds. We were there for 4 days and there was so much to do we had a hard time deciding how to spend our free time. My husband and I went horseback riding along the secluded beach and also took a great mountain bike ride into lush green forests. The setting of the Villa Montana Beach Resort allowed us to rekindle our romance and get back in touch with the great outdoors. We have great memories of our trip and hope to come back again one day.” Jul 16, 2008 by

“Our company is opening a new plant in Isabella, Puerto Rico and I needed to travel to the area for the first time. I was apprehensive as it wasn't a typical business hotel but I thought how bad can it be to stay at a resort when on business! Flying into the Aguadilla airport was a breeze and took away the hassle of a 2-hour drive from San Juan Puerto Rico. And it was a direct flight from Newark which was another surprise. Upon landing and getting my rental car a short 15 minute drive later and there I was. What a great place, there is everything to do or nothing at all. I had a hard time remembering I was there on business. Once I took a look at the stretch of secluded beach and the beautiful Caribbean ocean I could see myself surfing & scuba diving, hiking and biking, but that will have to wait for another more pleasurable trip. The guest rooms were perfectly set up and comfortable with all the modern amenities. There is no internet in the guest rooms which was no problem really. The internet was easily accessible at the Eclipse restaurant where I enjoyed my morning coffee. I also was surprised at the number of other business travelers there doing the same thing. We all said if people at our offices could only see us now! The staff was very helpful when it came to directions to our plant in Isabella and even helped me set up a business dinner for later in the evening with some of my colleagues. I now look forward to my future business trips to our plant and will be staying at the Villa Montana Beach Resort again you can be sure.” Jun 29, 2008 by

“The beach is beautiful - can walk for miles. Excellent scuba area - water can get rough for small children though. The staff were great. This is a luxury resort with a very relaxed, unpretentious feel. Great place & would highly recommend it. There was a wedding while we were there and they did a beautiful job.” May 12, 2008 by

“Room above a garage in a building with about 8 units. Buildings and property well kept. Quite remote which can be a plus or minus depending on what you want. The cable didn't work in our room either night we were there.” Apr 24, 2008 by

“After finding this somewhat hidden hotel we immediately felt like we were in paradise. The rooms were well kept, common areas wonderful, and all located on a great private beach. Wi-Fi spot on the beach was a bonus.” Mar 4, 2008 by

“Overall, it was a good experience. A few notes to fellow travelers: make sure you wear mosquito repellent to dinner or you will get eaten alive. Also they are kind of stingy on the towels in the rooms (hello? One washcloth for two people?). The bartenders aren't super great on the drink making. The beach is awesome and quiet and great for long walks. Staff is very nice.” Jan 28, 2007 by

“A quiet little road leads us to villa Montana, a clean, quiet resort with a very luxurious feel. At times we felt almost like the only visitors, but the staff was always eager to please and make us more comfortable, if possible. A very lovely private beachfront close to the restaurant seemed great, but a bit pricey. Our room was tastefully decorated, but a little cramped and awkwardly designed with the glass doors right at the bed and facing the street, we felt compelled to keep the drapes drawn most of our stay. Otherwise, villa Montana had other great amenities and I would happily revisit such a lovely resort.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.May 30, 2006 by

“Villa Montana was attractive, clean and pleasant. The staff was pleasant and eventually got things accomplished, even if not always so promptly. The lodgings' remoteness from the beach disappointed me. I thought that we were going to a beach resort. In fact only a couple of lodgings out of many had a view of the ocean. Our lodgings were a significant walk from the beach. The grounds were attractive, but to me it was not a beach resort.” 1 of 2 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
