• The location of the hotel was really good, right on bus routes and near the train station and taxi rank. The hotel itself was lovely inside and really weel kept, the staff were pleasent and the room was brilliant, with great furnishings and facilities, it
• Reception staff were quite ignorant and seemed very moody towards guests.

• Good size room, very nice bathroom and quiet location
• Not very good temperature control in room

• Everything you might need was there, just like home, including adjustable heating, and a spacious room and bathroom
• A small fridge with bottled water or a mini bar would have been handy

• Comfort and convenience

“I have used this hotel often and can only say that the rooms may benefit from an upgrade, re-decoration and the provision of satellite tv, this is found in most hotels these days. Also, the room charge seems a little high to not include breakfast, except at weekends.”

“The hotel was in a very accesable area only a short taxi ride away from the main city centre.we returned late on saturday night and there was a member of staff there to great us which was a rather nice touch.all in all an enjoyable experiance.And highly recomended.”

• Convenient location.
• Staff were unhelpful at reception. The in-room refreshments were poor. The breakfast was not complimentary despite a premium room rate. The night-time staff were reluctant to assist with bar orders.

“Regardless of needing to join a wedding party at 1pm, I was informed by reception I would be unable to check-in before 2pm (after my phoned through early check-in request was clearly misplaced or ignored). Staff showed no courtesy whatsoever and no attempt whatsoever was made to help me as their customer - I was left having to use a friends room to prepare. Staff were also clearly reluctant to assist with bar orders upon our return from the wedding reception. The in-room refreshments had no biscuits. The breakfast was not included. It was noisy (from street noise) and hot. I've stayed at plenty of quality places, but ths was a rubbish hotel. Flash looks and none of the touches that make hotel stays truly enjoyable experiences. If I were you I'd go elsewhere.”
