• The Sandringham provided comfortable facilities that is located in a central location with helpfull staff.
• There were no significant problems identified the short stay was very pleasent and restful.

• The staff both at Reception and the breakfast room are excellent - very friendly and helpful.
• The window insulation is somewhat old. Will be better if some new sealant can be applied to keep noise from the main street down or out.

• the room itself was fine
• I had no idea that the busiest street would be right in front of my window/room. I had great difficulty to sleep with all that noise from outside plus the Jazz Bar in the house

• BUT ROOM WAS UNFORTUNATELY AT THE FRONT AND A BIT NOISY

• Good location, very friendly staff and atmosphere.
• The shower! it was not very good, I was on the top floor and the water was struggling a little!

“With the exeption of the shower (to be fair I didnt mention it at the time)it was a lovely place and the next time I am due in Cardiff, that is where I will be staying.”

“Nice accomodation, in an excellent location with friendly staff. Only a few small niggles about the room that did not really detract from an overnight stay but would need attention if any longer. All in all, a very nice visit.”

• Central - shopping centre, train station, cinema and dining all handy
• The stairs!Tended to be noisy.

“Central location, easy access to station, shopping, cinema, dining etc. It was great to be able to leave our bags when we arrived in the morning and also to be able to leave them after we had booked out so we didnt have to carry them around all day. It would have been nice to have been told about the stairs - this needs to be highlighted in case of elderly or disabled booking on line!! Overall it was just what we wanted!!”

• Very friendly staff, excellent full english breakfast.
• Probably requires a little updating and modernisation.

“Excellent positioning - right in the centre, near train station and restaurants / pubs.
A fair rate per night, although perhaps the rooms would benefit from modernisation, otherwise clean rooms and very friendly staff.”

• Very Central to all amenities. Staff all very helpful and pleasant.
• Room needed slight updating No lift made it very difficult as all ladies travelling.Fulltime porter would be useful

“The best part of this hotel experience was the very nice full English breakfast that was included. The staff were all professional and polite. There is no lift in this building and most of the rooms are on upper floors, so I would not recommend it for people with lots of luggage or those who have difficulty climbing many steep stairs. It is certainly not handicap-friendly. The rooms are not great, but are adequate for a one or two night stay if you want to be near downtown Cardiff. This hotel is VERY close to Millennium Stadium (1 or 2 blocks).”

• Great location for all city sightseeing. Large number of restaurants nearby and shops.
• Parking provided in N.C.P. car park nearby, adequate. No parking outside hotel but staff helpful.
