• great rooms, friendly staff, lovely hotel!

“Great stay, except had to be moved as late night music very disturbing - very inconvenient! Would book a room away from possible noise if I stayed again!”

• Warm comfortable room and helpful friendly night porter

“Directions to hotel from airport led us away from hotel towards Bath! If you follow A4 signs from airport you join A4 to East of hotel (via ring road). This was very annoying late at night in strange town! (Not that Bristol is strange!)”

• Good restaurant, liked the ducks in the room. Good price. Plenty of towels and toiletries

“Bit out of town but on main bus route. Liked having downstairs room. Room smelt a bit smokey but generally very good for the price, very friendly and attentive - but not over-attentive - staff.”

• The location, car parking.
• Lack of gym facility, pool, sauna etc

“A reasonable standard hotel which is easy to locate and has good parking. Quality of the food was good but the evening meal was expansive. No exercise facilities if that is important to you.”

• Room was clean and comfortable.
• Asked for non smoking section but did not get it. Room was small. Breakfast was cold

“I felt that the picture of the rooms on-line were not realistic. I expected the room to be bigger. Although the staff on reception were very nice, when we went for breakfast next morning staff in the breakfast room were not very helpful and the breakfast was cold.”
