• Clean, Simple, Efficient, Impressive
• Not quite perfect accomodation - needed literally half hour spent by a workman to tidy up. Eg straighten light fittings and fix the door.

“Overall it was very good, however, on check-in I noticed that the room rate shown on my card was '65 instead of the agreed amount of '35. I pointed this out to the receptionist who said she would rectify it. On the night prior to departure I asked to see my bill and the room rate had been changed to '50 per night. They then
corrected it to the agreed amount of '35 per night. A minor point.”

• The girl in my bed was nice.
• Only spirits available through Room Services were miniatures.

“I have no complaints. The room was pleasant and clean, the bed comfortable and the staff helpful and professional.”

Thought the idea of a small safe in the room was great and very useful.”

• Good order and cleanliness
• milk was spilt on the floor, by a guest, in the restaurant and staff walked around it for the 30 minutes we were eating

“We would have liked to know where the car park was to avoid anu undue delays. We would also have liked to know whether or not there was a gym or swimming pool. It would be an added bonus to the hotel if a swimming pool nearby was available.”

• Cosy, well equipped room. Very quiet.
• Poor TV reception

“This time I stayed in an executive single room - the dressing gown promised in the advert was missing but apart from that the room was fine. The hotel itself is a bit tired, the downstairs ladies loo was out of order and staff were using the main lifts because service lifts were out of order (this was also the case when I stayed at the hotel 6 months ago!).
For downtown Birmingham, the hotel is conveniently located close to the main shopping centre.”
