• Clean, convenient from Tram Direct to Alexanderplatz, convenient to S-Bahn Ring.

“I have been to Berlin in the summer for 5 years. I found Holiday Inn Prenzlauer Alee and this is the third year I have stayed there. Plan to stay there next year. 14 min by tram to Alexanderplatz and 5 minute walk to S-Bahn Ring line.”

• Breakfast was good. Right on the trolley route.
• I thought the breakfast and internet access were both overpriced.

• Great bathroom, high tech feeling.
• Automatic underground parking system damaged car mirror.

“Convenient and quiet location; too far to walk to sightseeing areas of Berlin, but trams stop right outside the hotel. Extremely clean and well run. Excellent breakfast. (However, when we checked in we told the time for breakfast but not that our booking didn't include breakfast. At check out we were expected to pay 30 euros extra per person for two days of breakfast. We felt the hotel should have informed us that it was not included up front.).”

• Stylish, clean rooms and a friendly, English speaking staff.
• There is really nothing to complain about.

“We stayed for six nights in November, 2007. The hotel is in an excellent location. The S-Bahn station is only a five minute walk. A twenty four hour tram stops right at the front door. The hotel staff speaks English and is very friendly. I asked for directions to a store to buy camera batteries, and they gave me a complimentary set at the front desk! Rooms are clean and stylish. There is a grocery store right next door that sells cheap drinks and snack food. I highly recommend this hotel.”

• Reputation and easy to locate.
• When I got there, I thought I had a triple room, they charged an additional $ 38.00 for my son.

“When we checked in and when we came back later, both hotel personnel said to be sure to enjoy breakfast in the morning. They, however, neglected to state that breakfast was $15.00 person. Throughout Germany, breakfast had been included in the price of the hotel.”
