• best location, amazing pool area
• breakfast is too expensive if not included

• Easy check-in although I was there in the morning.
• At check out the desk clerk asked me if I wanted the 55 Euro charge billed to my credit card. Took a few minutes to get my "this is pre-paid" .

• Nice room size and hotel location is great.
• No Internet connection in Room + high charges for Bus. Ctr.!

“The Westin Grand is very centrally located & convenient to Berlin Public transit. Ambiance is very nice and rooms and bathrooms are what you would expect from a hotel of this class. However, if you need to work from your room, forget it if you need to be online. There is NO internet connectivity in the rooms and the "Business Center" (a single PC and an additional connection to use your own laptop) costs 15 Euros(!) for 30 minutes. Now that's highway robbery for a hotel of this class.The breakfast buffet is good, but not included with the room price. Concierge service was very helpful and, of course, the staff is multilingual.Except for the Internet fiasco, a very nice hotel and a great base from which to explore Berlin.”

• Great location, lovely decor, good size room, great value
• Price of breakfast was steep

“The dramatic atrium and attractive decor make it a pleasant place to be. The location is outstanding, with easy access by the TXL bus from Tegel airport, city buses (100 & 200), and U-bahn. Easy access to main attractions including Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag, Jewish Museum, Museum Island, etc.”
