Research User Reviews for The Queensberry Hotel (1-1 of 1)

“We (two 40 something couples) have stayed here for a weekend break just before Christmas for 5 years in a row - we must like it! The hotel is smaller than the Hilton type product; more like a large town house and with lots of character. Staff always friendly. The rooms are all slightly different, but all very comfortable. Public rooms quite small, but cozy (log fire in the winter). Some of the large bedrooms are expensive, but even the smaller ones are as big as a 'typical' hotel and just as well equipped. Excellent restaurant in the cellar, but you need to book when you make your room reservation as it is open to the public in the evening. The location is good for a shopping type 'get away' in a quiet street about a mile from the top of the shopping district, it is up hill on the way back, so can be a struggle if you are loaded down by hey, that's what you're here for!” Hotel Representatives:
