“Good place for one or two nights stopover to Phuket.” Dec 25, 2005 by

“The West in in located about 2 minutes from the sky train which is absolutely critical with Bangkok's traffic. Staff was great, room was fantastic, food was fantastic.” Sep 2, 2005 by
Gary from San Francisco, CA
“From the time you park your car, to the welcoming staff, to the checkin procedure and finally to the gorgeous room, the procession is grand and complete. Pool is a delight. Food is delicious and smiles abound. What more could one say?” Aug 3, 2005 by

“The Westin is a great hotel for the cost. It's worth staying in and in a great location.” Jul 19, 2005 by
Robert from San Francisco
“This is a fine tourist booking and a superb expense account venue. Rooms are quiet, safe, well appointed; all have great beds. The Executive Lounge is well stocked and managed. The in-room massage treatments are marvelous. The pool is rather small, but the gym provides a good selection of machines. The restaurants and bars are fine, as is room service. A very gracious staff. Easy access to public transportation. Try to book a room on a high floor looking east.” May 25, 2005 by

“Really modern, and clean, and fabulous service. My only problem was the a/c not getting regulated. I had to turn it off and then it got stuffry and I got a bad headache. SO it was a bit of a downer. THe spa was fabulous and I spent four hours there. The best in the world for massage and facials etc.” May 23, 2005 by

“A wonderful Hotel in the middle of the Nightlife and business area of Bangkok. Wonderful staff, fantastic room with a great view. Even the In House massage was exceptional. Very good food and drink at the lounge. The travel agent in house was quite helpful too for a trip to Phuket. I would stay there again.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Apr 17, 2005 by

“I've stayed here several times now and find it to be a great hotel with wonderful staff whose English (and Japanese) is excellent. The rooms and beds are the best I've found in Bangkok (though the Oriental suites come close). I also love the location, as I mostly get around by Sky train, though some will find Sukumvit to have too much traffic and most will dislike the hawkers and beggars I imagine. If I could change one thing it would be wireless net access in the rooms.” Apr 15, 2005 by

“Very average Westin, nothing great nothing very bad. Very poor public areas, except 7th floor bar.” Apr 6, 2005 by
John from Newport News, VA
“Very nice hotel with excellent rooms and excellent dining facilities however when I book a 5 star hotel I expect a swimming poor to be in operation on the property. Had I known that the pool was closed the week I was there I would have never booked this hotel. We had the option to use the pool at another hotel however that just was not practical. ” Apr 5, 2005 by
Denis from Mi, MI
“This 5 star hotel in Bangkok is terrible. Bad location, no lobby on ground floor, and unfriendly staff. ” Dec 2, 2004 by
Matthew P. from Bethel “Great location! Next to BTS Skytrain and great shopping!” Sep 22, 2004 by
Florian E. from Ginsheim Gustavsburg “Great modern hotel in great location (Asok Sky train and Sukhumvit MRT station), excellent staff, and fantastic room.” Hotel Representatives:
