• Food was good staff was helpful.
• Hotel was old.

“Hotel is old, desperately needs refurbished. Staff very good and food excellent, but I would avoid, rooms were dank and had an off odor, possibly age related. Building is OLD.”

• The newer wing of the hotel was definitely the best, and I now understand why they are renovating the complete hotel.
• The breakfast/dinner area needs a face lift, nothing really attractive.

“The hotel is located next to Albert Park, a beautiful location for a short walk, in and around the park, and an easy walk into the main part of town where you will find many stores. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, and if you want the best out of the hotel, the new wing with rooms having a balcony, it is the place to stay.”

• The staff was very friendly.
• There wasn't anything that I disliked enough to mention.

“This hotel was convenient to the downtown area and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. We had no complaints.”

• It overlooked the harbor.
• It is one of the older hotels.

“The hotel being one of the older hotels in town had a few areas that needed a little refreshing. The rooms were fine and the location was ok, not in the center of everything. All in all, it was a good experience.”

• Nice new addition - beautiful balcony.
• The door stops that I broke my toe on!

“Hotel was fine but had a few problems. I asked the front desk twice for ice (two separate days) and it never arrived. I broke my toe on a very badly placed door stopper in the hallway. I told the hotel and they didn't say boo about it. Could have at least said "sorry".”

• Very helpful staff.
• They tried to make us pay for the room when we checked out.

“The public spaces were attractive. The dining room too open and noisy, the price of a glass of wine was too high and the amount poured very skimpy.”

• The swimming pool area.
• The room was much less than what I was expecting.

• Reasonable proximity to harbor and decent views of same form our room.
• Rooms quite small and little or no drawer space. Regency Club facilities and service was way below par, bordering on unfriendly.

“This hotel has a good location and good harbor views. Rooms are rather small, but nonetheless adequate Regency Club facilities and service - a hall-mark of the Hyatt chain and usually first class ¿ were disappointing. There was a distinct unwillingness to accommodate. Overall the hotel could do with a complete overhaul.”

• Restaurant was very good.
• It's old and outdated.

“This hotel is old and outdated in a poor location. They were very unorganized on check ins and check out. The concierge was constantly busy and no help. The bell staff was not very helpful. They changed us to a cheaper room. The only thing we did enjoy about the hotel was the restaurant which had great food, expensive but good. We only ate there because there was no alternative close by unless you want to pay for a taxi. Would not stay here again.”
