• Classic old world feel.

“Both hotels were excellent. we took meals off property because of expensive menus.”

• Very clean and modern.
• Construction in progress. Could not take afternoon nap because of construction, which manager said stops at 4pm.

“The booking description led me to believe the construction was completed in Oct. 2006 when I booked in Jan. 2007. When we checked in on Apr. 2007, there was scaffolding everywhere and it looks like it will be awhile before everything is finished. It was noisy during the afternoon and the exterior was not very appealing. However, the hotel lobby was modern and beautiful and the room is very spacious. I would book at a different hotel for the same price I paid if I had known about the construction.”

• Two blocks from wharf area great location for shopping great breakfast & lunch buffet.
• Construction still underway.

“Very clean & upscale in lobby area. Staff always helpful & friendly. Lobby bathrooms spotless elevators always prompt.”

• Comfortable.
• No health club. No pool.

“The Stamford plaza is located well for shopping and for access to the Auckland wharf area. There is construction going on which is a little disruptive.”
