• The decor of the hotel is beautiful.
• No negative comments.

“My husband and I spent six nights in this hotel which we booked through expedient. I called prior to arrival to confirm our reservation and request that we have (our standard) room overlooking the canal. I was told that they could not promise, but would put it in as a request. Upon arrival, the check in was most pleasant and we were very pleased with the room, not only a canal view but a balcony overlooking the canal. No upgrade, this was one of their standard rooms. The location was exceptional, the staff was extremely helpful, and the room was a good size with a well equipped bathroom, very clean. We did not eat breakfast in the cafe (21 eons each) but found a bakery, pancake house and McDonalds a short walk away. We did enjoy an afternoon snack in the cafe, a beautiful, historic room. On several evenings we enjoyed a drink (complementary nuts) in the bar, which was also very pleasant. A most enjoyable stays overall. We would recommend this hotel highly.”

• Have to climb stairs to get to the lobby.

• Excellent concierge and restaurant.
• Some of the rooms need some sprucing up.

• Rooms were small and lacked view.

“If you want to be in the center of it, this is probably the spot for you. Unfortunately it did not seem like a great value. Breakfast is good but expensive at 20 Eros a pop.”
