• Good location next to train station. Friendly staff.
• It was under construction on our floor.

“Great location next to the train station. The staff was very helpful in recommending local restaurants and nightlife. The hotel gets locked up every night and security has to let you in past midnight, which is good for safety.”

“This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I stay over 200 nights a year in hotel and this place topped them all as horrendous. The front desk staff/management was extremely rude to foreigners. The hotel was undergoing construction, which they do not inform you of until check-in. Very loud and intrusive. We were charged 150 Euro fee to for smoking fee, although my wife nor I smoke. There were many better choices and I would suggest staying at any of them!”

• They were efficient and quick.
• They were unwilling to let us stay past the checkout time (even for an hour).

“For an Amsterdam tourist this hotel is conveniently located and provides a comfortable stay. No need to bring shampoo, or toothpaste or toothbrush because all are complimentary. The presentation of the guest rooms could be better, but overall it's nothing to complain about.”

• Parking was not convenient and very expensive.

“Great location. Location again was great. Bathroom had moldy shower grout, tub clean. AC did not work (I know what European AC is and it wasn't even that). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Everyone spoke English (as does all of the Netherlands), I felt at home and safe. Gift shop was also nice. Location was close to rail, tourism sights and where the locales shop, grocery and all - better prices than the cheese shops. Considering how much the other hotels in the area cost, good value. If you don't drive, go when it's cool (windows did not open either) and bring some tilex.”

• Walking distance from train and a good location.
• Room needs up-grading. Bathroom grungy looking with dirty looking grout.

“Excellent location. The hotel is in serious need of some TLC, especially the bathroom. Towels were worn and actually had holes. The floor in the room was uneven, and seemed to be warped under the carpet. Room (219). The breakfast buffet is wonderful but a bit on the expensive side. Catering to everyones tastes.”

• Staff did not like us questioning the accommodations.

“There would be an extra charge of 24 Euros per person for breakfast. The price was way too high for what we received. It was not worth the money.”

• Basement pool and hotel location.
• Doesnt seem like a four star.

“Location was incredible. Very expensive, for the services provided. Hotel charged me an addition 120$ above what I paid, for the basic hotel rate.”

• Beautiful hotel. Great location. Friendly staff.

“The room was large and had a hair dryer - great for Europe. The workout facilities were a big plus for me! Staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to store our bags prior to check-in.”

• Very clean and professional all-around.
• Got the wrong room 1st night, and had some confusion with my there computers and my reservation.

“Very nice hotel overall. The staff had problems finding my reservation, and then they gave me the wrong room. They fixed it the next day after a lot of confusion as the different shifts of staff workers made the problem much harder than it should have been. Bad in-staff communication. After that was all settled eventually, the rest of the stay was very pleasant and enjoyable. Great location!”
