“This hotel will transport you back to 1950 with outdated furnishings, lack of amenities, and poor cleanliness. Our toilet would not flush without repeated attempts (no water conversation here!). The floor felt dirty and we heard several guest complain during checkout and in the common areas. The TV, alarm clock, and lamps were bolted down like anyone would want these hideous furnishings. No mid-century modern here, just poor, cheap amenities.” Apr 1, 2008 by
Tom from Tacoma, WA
“Worse ran continental, breakfast ever little choice, helper was intent on rationing out little bit of food. Slim selection of food groups. Pillows way to wimpy. Cobwebs and bugs mainly ants need to be taken care of. sliding glass door did not close completely at top letting cold air in.” Mar 21, 2008 by
Rod from Maple Valley, WA
“Good location, but some of the staff was simply space fillers - no passion to serve.” Mar 13, 2008 by
Lavinia from Salem, OR
“Not what a 2 star hotel stands for, this should be 0 star. Needs remodeling and should not be rented under 2 star, but as a cheep dirty hotel.” Mar 6, 2008 by
Nancy from Edmonds, WA
“This is the third time we have stayed here in two yrs. Each time the hotel had a different name. Very close to Whitman, across from Safeway. If you plan to stay here, ensure you have a very full, tiring agenda so that when you return to your room you are exhausted and go straight to sleep. The rooms, although not small, smell of mustiness with a hint of years of attempted deodorizing. Beds aged. Table and chairs would be rejected at the thrift stores. Carpet to keep your shoes on. Service employees do not seem to want to be there.” Feb 2, 2008 by
Frank from Moscow, ID
“It is 1-star, at best. There are far better choices in Walla Walla, WA, for the same money: La Quinta and Best Western. If you like an old and dirty motel with no maid service (unless you beg them), unadequate customer service, broken heating system in the winter, no internet connection of any kind, and fluctuating water temperature in the shower, this is your choice! Be careful with bidding for 2 star hotels in Walla Walla, as this motel will ruin your stay in this city. We dearly missed the other choices I mentioned above.” Feb 1, 2008 by
Jenny from Washington, DC
“While the staff was pleasant and the management clearly had good intentions, this was NOT a 2-star hotel. It is more like a nice motel.” Jan 25, 2008 by
Bonny from Sells, AZ
“Convenient location and lack of visible cockroaches or vermin are about the only things this hotel has going for it.” Dec 29, 2007 by
Joan from Yakima, WA
“I would not return at any price, too economy for my taste, very disappointed.” Aug 9, 2006 by
Jeff from Newman Lake, WA
“Overall good hotel.” May 1, 2006 by
Megan from Modesto, CA
“Once we saw our room, we canceled our reservation and found another hotel. Our room faced an alley, the lobby and our "non" smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke, and the crib provided for our baby was rickety and unsafe. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
