• Extremely convenient
• Rather have housekeeping daily rather than kitchen

“Hotel was convenient and clean. Hotel had only weekly housekeeping. If you need/want a kitchen this is the hotel for you.”

• Location.
• Drapes, bedding, entire room reeked of smoke (cigs). After one night there, all our clothes smelled also.

“Non-smoking room may have been better. But would not go there again, unless Guaranteed a non-smoking room.”

• Getting clean linen when needed - was frustrating. One bed in room is not suitable for a family.

“I have stayed at the hotel before. This time I was not traveling alone; therefore, one bed in the room was not appropriate for my daughter, grandchild, and myself. The only other complaint I had was there was not clean towels available each day when I asked. It was frustrating having to go back and forth to the front desk to get clean towels/handcloth/washcloth daily. I actually like the fact that they only to housekeeping once a week as I don't like someone coming into my room. I loved the free laundry facilities and cupboard with food items. The location is great for West Wichita. There is not restaraunt, but there are many places to eat very close by.”

• Kitchen was great since we got caught in blizzard!
• Location is a bit out of the way.

“We'd stayed here. It was great as we got caught in a snow storm and there is a Wall - mart just across the street for supplies! Worked out really well with the small kitchen. Snow was quickly removed from parking areas to aid in movement of cars.”

• Close to shopping.
• Pillows weren't very good, brought our own.

“We have stayed several times before. Like the facilities, stove, icebox,kitchen equipment. Shower grab bar was very loose. Noticed other rooms at this hotel had the same trouble.”

• The room was very comfortable.

“This was an excellent hotel for the value. Really enjoyed the little honor-system food area, we arrived late, but were still able to find good things to eat. The room had a microwave and plates, glasses, etc - it was very nice!”

• Only 1 queen bed in every single room--terrible.

“No king beds, no double beds in any rooms. You can upgrade to a pull out bed or buy a rollaway for extra charge. Never seen a hotel like this one.”

• Adjoining rooms. A few nice, unusual, free amenities.
• Received a noise complaint, and we don't know why.

“This hotel is geared towards long term business travelers, but suited our needs with a kitchen so we could save money on dinner and breakfast. I was surprised they didn't have at least a continental breakfast, but it's obvious they're encouraging you to use the suite's kitchen and cook for yourself.”

• It was really nice and the staff was very friendly.

“From the moment that we entered we were greeted and treated very kind. All of our questions were answered. The room was very nice and really clean and well taken care of. Will stay there again and recommend to family.”

“I got a smoking room and only one bed for three people. It was okay but didn't feel that clean. Probably because it was a smoking room. There was no pool so my kids were disappointed. I wouldn't recommend the hotel.”

• I loved that it was a suite; complete with a kitchen. Excellent experience.
• I can't think of one thing that I disliked about this hotel.

“I expected the average hotel. Upon opening the door to the room I was surprised to find that it was a suite; complete with a kitchen. Every aspect of the hotel was excellent; from the cleanliness, free laundry, exercise room, convenient location and very helpful, friendly staff. I would most definitely recommend the hotel to anyone and would love to stay there when I return to Wichita.”

“The rooms were fairly large, there was a DVD/VCR hooked up to the TV with a variety of DVD's and VHS tapes to borrow from the front desk. Free laundry facilities, exercise room. Very nice hotel for the price.”

• I was given a smoking room and they would not switch me.

• It was very pleasant and clean.
• There was a lot of fragrance in towels and bedding.

• The room was nicely decorated/furnished.
• The trashcan/butt can right at the front door was overflowing with trash, cigar butts, cigarette butts, and booze bottles.

“This is a great hotel in a great location. If they can keep the area by their front door as clean as their rooms, I would give it a 10 but have to give it a 7.”

• The room smelled good; was very, very clean. Liked the kitchenette & size of bathroom.
• The front staff was helpful, but not overly friendly.

• No single beds are available; creates a dilemma with associates who don't sleep together.

“This hotel is in a great location on the west side of Wichita. Their amenities are suitable for both single business travelers and families who sleep together. It is not suitable for business associates or families who do not sleep together (siblings, etc.)”

• Extremely clean, comfortable bed and pillows, nice kitchenette. Just a nice place for the price!
• Not a big deal, but there was no shampoo in the room.

“The location was very convenient for flying out of Wichita and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable! I will definitely stay there in the future!”

• We were put in a smoking room and it smelled disgusting!

“I was not very happy with my stay at this hotel. It was not necessarily the hotels fault, but we were put in a smoking room. It smelled so bad. All my clothes, hair etc. smelled like smoke for the remainder of my trip. I am okay with that, but I think smoking/non smoking rooms should be a choice. I am not a smoker and do not appreciate smelling like a chimney during my vacation. Could you consider this as a an option that we could choose? It wasn't worth the savings to compromise in this area.”

• Great bed! I though only upscale hotels had such plush beds; terrific!
• Can't complain about anything at Candlewood.

“Superior mattress, nice kitchen, really clean. Amenity room, where you can buy food, fruit, and so forth was a nice touch for the weary traveler who is too tired to venture out. I wish AZ had Candlewoods!”

• Having the kitchen and hairdryer was perfect.
• Nothing.

“This hotel was perfect for me, having the kitchen and nice bathroom facility. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Having the deli was a nice feature but I didn't need to use it this trip, except for getting my "one free pop". This hotel was very close to a SuperWalmart and Kohl store, which was great. Very clean and comfortable. Will hope to get this hotel again.”

“Hotel was clean and Convenient to the Airport. I made my reservation stating there was 2 guests myself and older chill. I was disappointed to get to my room and only have one bed.”

• I love this motel. Friendly and clean. Has its own convenient store.
• Kind of had a hard time figuring out their heating system but didn't take the time to ask.

“Loved it! Rooms have everything you need. I swear any man could live in the rooms. Bed, recliner, TV, fridge, bathroom, internet access. What more could they need! Even have a convenient store, workout room, and laundry facilities. Great place!”

• There was no ice & the ice maker was super slow.

“We think the ice situation should be addressed. One should not have to take ice to a nice motel. The girl in the lobby did not have ice. She told me to turn on the ice maker in the fridge. It made 6 cubes in 2 hours. If you want to relax with a drink, you're out of luck!”

“This motel is perfect for the business traveler since the location is on a quiet side street but also near major stores and restaurants. The staff is excellent and accomodating.”

• The kitchenette was convenient.
• Charged us for a roll away because we ended up with one bed when we wanted two.

“The person at the desk seemed a little put out by my needing a roll away. The next morning my child got sick and I inquired about staying there one more night and they were doing to charge me nearly double, so I didn't stay.”
