• I was very impressed by candlewood suites.
• There was nothing I did not like.

“Candlewood suites Wichita is a very nice hotel. Their front desk staff leaves at 11:00 pm and we arrived at about 12:30 am. Our key was in a safe and all we had to do was punch in our last Name. It was very easy. The room was great! There was a full kitchen loaded with anything that you would need for a long stay pots and pans, plates, cups, silverware, etc. Everything was great!”

• The bed was comfortable out of this world.
• Nothing negative to report.

“We were returning from a 14-day stay in Alaska, and used this facility on our way home. We arrived late (midnight), everything was ready for us to arrive and get a late night snack before going to bed. This room was the most comfortable of any we had for the previous 14 nights. I would personally like to thanks them for their hospitality.”

• All rooms have small kitchen, VCR/DVD players and free movie checkout at the front desk.
• Still have some smoking rooms and they allow small pets.

“This hotel is fantastic with clean free laundry facilities, quest store for snacks and food (24 hrs a day - on the honor system), exercise room, and VCR or DVD players in every room. Hotel is kept very clean and every room is a suite with a small kitchen.”

• The rooms were spacious and overall comfortable.
• The room could have used updating and bathroom could have been a bit cleaner.

• The room was very clean.
• The room could have been a little larger.

“It was clean - I only saw the lady at the front desk - I think she had a cold and wasn't feeling well - it was quiet - I saw no other guests - the fitness room was nice as was the convenience store - I will stay again.”

• I was very pleased with the hotel.

• It is out of the heavy traffic flow so it is very quite yet easy to get to.
• I was on the third floor and the elevator had a bad smell in it.

“I have stayed at this hotel two other times. I really like the place. It is clean, quite, easy to get to and the accommodations are great. I have told friends about it and the last time I was their we had four rooms rented. They also were impressed with the neatness and quietness of the place.”

• Very clean and attractive rooms. Great accommodations!
• No choice of sleeping accommodations only had single queen bed in rooms.

“This is a great motel to stay at for one or two travelers, especially if you plan on staying for several days. Excellent accommodations for extended stay. Probably the best motel you can stay at for a reasonable rate!”

• Close to major highway and i-35.
• Looked like an old 1-star with new label.

“This hotel is "pet-friendly" with a slight smell. Rooms are repainted but old, and there are no breakfast facilities. Not recommended for overnight stays (not long-term).”

• The general store really helped me out!
• It was a little off the interstate.

Really liked the gym, free washer/dryer and honor-system break room stocked with everything. Located near good restaurants and shopping. Will always stay there in the future.”

• Candle wood Suites was the cleanliest room we have ever stayed in.
• No hot tub, pool, ping pong table.

“The staff was excellent, was extremely accommodating to all of our needs. Carpet was just shampooed, smelled wonderful. Even traded locks on the door to get us the room we wanted. My highest praise does to this wonderful, friendly place to stay. Could not of have a better place to stay for the night. Thank you for having high standards and being so warm and welcoming. Even the maintenance man who changed locks on the door came back with menus and ideas of where we could get supper. Was very nice.”

“This hotel seems to treat differently. When I requested for double bed, the staff mentioned that they don't have any available. I have a feeling they are holding back for different guest. Staff is not very friendly.”

“My time spent there was just for sleeping. My business in Wichita kept me in the city until late both nights. It was clean and neat and had all I needed. For the price it was a good deal.”

“I called the hotel for my special request of non-smoking and double room. When I arrived, I had neither. I was told double rooms or air beds were available only to their real customers. I had a difficult time getting towels and the smoke smell out of my clothes. I have written management of Candlewood suites to express my displeasure.”

• The room was excellent and it was very quiet in the room.
• No ice machine. Takes to long to make ice in the room.

“I was very pleased with it. It done everything I needed for me over the weekend. All I needed was a place to clean up and sleep. The rooms were excellent, very quiet and the beds were very comfortable. Another thing I noticed was the lighting in the room was better than most hotels and motels. I was able to read without standing under a light.”

“The directions on the phone were helpful in finding the Hotel but gave wrong directions for the last turn which caused some stress. Would like to have had ice machines but the clerk was helpful.”

• Hard mattress and could feel individual springs- not the best rest.

“Great if you have need of microwave, refrigerator and dishes while staying away from home. Hotel has movies to lend and vcr in room. Mattresses in Candlewood suites are sub-par and obviously cheap. If you like overly firm, cheap mattresses in which you can feel the individual springs, this is the hotel for you.”

“This hotel is located well for work for me. The staff go the extra mile to make sure that you are taken care of. The free extras were very nice. The cook out on wed. was a very nice touch. If you want to be left alone or you want contact you get what you want.”

• I liked the way it was set up
• You had to purchase food items that are free at breakfasts at most hotels.

“It was nice. I was really pleased with the room, laundry was free. You had to purchase food items that are usually given at other motels for breakfast, but on the other side the were reasonably priced, and you could get them any time.”

“I wish the motel would have had an elevator in the wing we were in. We had to go up and down two flights of stairs and my knee I had operated on would not withstand it. It is sad the accommodation couldn't have been better. I must apologize for grumbling, but my health is my main stay in a motel/hotel.”
