- One of the clerks was snippy!
“Overall a nice facility. Most of the staff was friendly however when we asked for double beds, one of the clerks was rather short with us saying that there are no guaranties. He also seemed upset that we would do such a thing. Another clerk came in and upgraded our room for us.”

- Beautiful hotel in peaceful setting, perfect location for business travelers.
- Mattresses were uncomfortable, woke each day with backache.
“The appearance and location of this hotel were perfect. It is an ideal location for business travelers: close to corporations, yet set among old oaks, so it's perfect for those looking to escape a hectic day. Nice fitness area & pool. The microwave in our room could have been replaced, and the mattresses had much less support than we desired. Could feel and hear the springs -- tossed & turned all night, then woke with a backache. Other than that, very nice.”

- I left some clothes behind and they offered to mail them to me, hope they do.
- Would have been nice to have a balcony.
“I really donżt have anything bad to say. Rooms were clean, staff was nice. I left a shirt and pair of shorts behind and when I called to see if they had them the offered to mail them to me. I haven't received them yet but it has only been a couple days. The location is a little off the beaten track but not too difficult to find.”

- It was beautiful and only about a 10 minute drive to cruise ships.
- It does not include a continental breakfast.
“This hotel appears to be new. There is a lot of construction going on around the building. There has been a lot of landscaping done around the building and the area. This seemed like a safe area and it is very close to shopping and the cruise ship ports. I would stay in this hotel again!”

- The hotel was close to our main reason for visiting the area. Breakfast buffet was not very appetizing $10 for cold pancakes and eggs that were bland.
- Unable to accommodate request for non smoking room therefore making for an uncomfortable sleep being that the smoke stench was in the air.
“Overall it was okay minus the smoke in the hotel room which not even air freshener cold eliminate to make it a bit more comfortable. The location was good though, near the hard rock hotel which is where we wanted to go to a concert and also close to Busch gardens.”

- Good for business travelers.
- No daily housekeeping.
“After coming back from a day's activities, used towels were removed from the bathroom but not replaced, and no bed making, no clean cups, no new shampoos, . The room was just as same as the state when we left in the morning (except the towels removed). I've never stayed in such a hotel before and I found a note said that housekeeping is provided every third day. I will not come back to this hotel.”

- I especially like the mattress and the mattress cover. It was wool or something like that.
- Was not able to get late check out to my satisfaction.
“My reservation was in a file on the top of the desk with my name typed on the folder. They knew who I was and were expecting me. The room service menu was great and the meal was exceptional. The fitness center was well equipped and well maintained. The pool area was arranged with clean, appropriate furniture. The business center was functional with high speed internet. The hot cookies in the lobby in the evening are delightful and create a nice touch. I am very well pleased with this selection of hotel and will come again when in the area and need exists.”

- Effigy and microwave in room. Pleasant.
- The staff at the restaurant and the front desk was providing poor service and were not service oriented.
“The food for dinner was horrible. The waitress had an attitude. Breakfast was cold and of limited selection with containers almost empty. And at $ 10.00 a meal for breakfast quite surprising the hotel whirlpool was not working. The front desk said they would send someone out. I waited a half hour with no one coming out. I go to the front desk and try to talk to the young man on duty who told me he would send someone out. I had to wait awhile because he was on the telephone with a personnel call form his girlfriend. Ho satisfaction and he was bothered that I interrupted his call to his girlfriend. He immediately jumped back on the telephone. All of this was quite surprising for a Hilton property.”

- Clean rooms, new facility.
- Hot tub was out of order (cold) even after turned on, staff didnżt acknowledge while waiting at front desk for service.
“Front desk staff needs to learn to say something while imp standing there and they receive phone calls and yip yap away without acknowledging my existence. Say ill be right with you or something, furthermore, a caller does not have priority over a checking customer with questions about directions to some local attraction. I stood there unacknowledged for ten minutes while the caller and front desk rep was trying to find simple directions over the phone because they can't read a map.”

“This hotel is fantastic if you get it for a good rate as I did. The Hilton Garden Inn in Tampa/ East Brandon is about the nicest Hilton Garden Inn I have stayed at. Room was clean, large and had all amenities you would ever need. For a 2 1/2 star hotel, it's an excellent value.”

- There was sometimes cigarette smoke in the stairway.
“We had a great time. We were rollerblading around the parking lot, and swimming in the pool everyday. We didn't have to worry about being around a lot of traffic. The room was clean and we always had fresh towels. The room also had free internet.”

- Close to where I needed to be.
- Cigarette smoke on the 6th floor.
“Smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Hallway on the 6th floor reeked of cigarette smoke-as did my room. I am a non-smoker I resented my lungs having to filter that stuff out. I was with the dog shows- hotel was non-dog, had to pay a 75.00 non-refundable pet deposit. I had no choice- I was stranded. My dogs reeked of cigarette smoke. I was told $75.00 was to rid the room of dog smell. What a joke!!!!! My champion dogs needed baths after that.6th floor was also a hassle- 2 dogs in the elevator. As well as their folding crates. No other option for a room. Hotel was mostly empty. 12 cars in the parking lot on Friday and sat, nights.”

“Hotel staff did not clean the room, even after Do not disturb sign was taken down. Overpriced breakfast buffet, not typical for a hotel to not have continental breakfast that is complimentary. not a lot of access/service hours for room service. Does not live up to what I would think would be standards of the Hilton name based on all their appearances in the public eye. screwed up on the primary credit card a new card had to be used, there were charges on both cards for incidentals, which caused and issue with one of the cards.”

- Beautiful location, new clean and quiet, convenient, away from the traffic and noise.
- Room service did not refresh the shampoo.
“Very nice, new hotel which is in a wonderful location among large towering oak trees. It was a breeze to travel to watch our son in the S.E. regional youth rowing regatta. The hotel was 5 minutes away! This hotel could easily be ranked as a 3 star but was listed as 2-1/2. The staff was pleasant and the hotel was quiet at night.”

- We stayed at this hotel for a quick overnight stay before going to the destination of downtown (to see ybore city). It was a very nice hotel.
- I wanted to be closer to downtown so we could take a cab. It is only 15 minutes but we wanted to be closer
“Nice facility especially good for business people. It was about 15 minutes to downtown. The area right where the hotel was is nice but the surrounding area is not the greatest. I would recommend this hotel for business people or someone needing a hotel for a night.”

- One bathroom was dirty at arrival and the staff did not clean until the next day!
“Very pretty location with comfortably appointed rooms. Relaxing atmosphere with efficient management. However, housekeeping did not clean the bathroom in one of our rooms. After I informed the front desk, no personnel came to clean until the following day. That is not a Hilton standard from what I know. But, the manager was friendly and gave us free breakfast for our troubles. Good place overall but they should check their housekeeping staff for efficiency.”
