• Convenient location.
• Backs up to rollway, outside entrances, construction parking lot.

“If I was driving down I80 and was falling asleep this might be a good place to stop to go to sleep for 8 hrs. And then leave. My wife made me drive around for the 2 days we were in town so as to not spend much time at the hotel.”

“The hotel needs a complete remodel. The sink in my room had six inch black cracks in it. All the carpets need replaced.”

• Good location. Easy to get to.
• The first two rooms we were to stay in. The patio door was leading out to the parking lot had no locks. The previous locks had been mangled and missing.

“Not a three star by any means. Room was good. Carpet was clean and newer, bed was comfy. Blanket was clean, comfy, and new. Bathroom needs updating (and a good scrubbing). Cannot believe the patio doors had no locks!”

  liked the fact that they had a pool inside and out, they had a pleasent out side area.

“The beds were very comfortable. They had a place where you could grill and be out side with family members.”

• We had a computer in our room to access the internet. We didn't even take our laptops out of the car.
• The pillows were too hard for me.

“The Quality Inn was wonderful. We traveled to South Bend for my granddaughter's first birthday. There were six of us staying in two rooms. Both of the rooms had computers making it unnecessary to bring our laptops out of the car. My daughter, son-in-love and my other granddaughter joined my husband, my teenage daughter and myself and we all had a great time. The pool and hot tub were clean and welcoming as was the game room and fitness room.”

• Outdoor heated pool along a small waterway, additional indoor pool; friendly, helpful staff with quick response to our needs.
• Clogged showerhead, found French fry behind nightstand, room located away from pools.

“Great location, quick & easy check-in, excellent customer service, excellent outdoor heated pool - perfect temperature, choice of indoor pool. Many choices at continental breakfast. Older hotel with some cosmetic issues; needed new showerhead. Overall, we'd stay there again.”

• The Japanese steak house across the street.
• Lax security; grungy entrances, hallways and bathrooms; parties in parking lot.

“The staff was helpful over the phone, but when I arrived the reservation area reeked of cigarette smoke. I had a choice of a building with the rooms accessed through an interior corridor or a building with the rooms accessed from the parking lot. I choose the interior corridor building for safety reasons. The building had an outside door with a key access lock. I later discovered that the lock did not work. The entrance area and hallways were shoddy. The room was passably furnished, but the bathroom should have been remodeled ten years ago. A huge crack ran the entire depth of the sink and the hardware in the sink and tub were old and rusty. The bathroom was worthy of a truckers' special, one-star motel. When I left my room to go to dinner, I was amazed to see a bar-b-queue taking place in the parking lot. Two rooms were occupied by a group of young men who had the room doors open, folding camp chairs set up on the walk way, coolers at the ready, and a bar-b-queue grill with flames two feet high. Given that this is a college town, I am guessing this a frequent occurrence. As for dinner, skip the grill and head across the street to the Japanese steak house.”

• Too much chlorine in pool and hot tub.

“Good hotel in great location of the toll road. We were playing a concert in downtown south bend and this hotel was under ten minutes away from the Morris center.”

• Clean, comfortable room; good map to popular nearby locales.
• Breakfast. Front office staff not on duty.

“Clean accommodations, conveniently located, with good direction map to local attractions. Room immaculate; public areas less so. Priced higher than perceived value.”

• They responded to requests quickly.
• The roll away bed was of poor quality, it broke and nearly hurt my son.

“It was adequate for a place to sleep. I doubt I will stay at this hotel again.”

• Good location/excellent free breakfasts/nice staff.
• Room heater did not work/ very cold in room with bitter cold weather outside (about 0 degrees).

“I would have loved my stay at this motel if the room heater had been adequate. It was very cold in the room and had a hard time sleeping. They did provide extra blankets, but felt heater should have been better. Great location to University of Notre Dame and airport. Easy to find. Nice staff.”
