• Friendly staff, excellent accommodations.
• Would like a shuttle to Int'l Mall, or other areas.

“The rooms were beautiful, with feather beds that just made you melt and bath and body works toiletries. The rooms were quite quiet considering it is in the airport and watching the planes take off and land was a blast. The swimming pool was very clean and warm, the deck area had plenty of lounge chairs and food and beverage service. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely stay there again.”

• Incredible location steps from terminal. Rooms beautifully appointed.
• High-speed Internet is an extra charge of $12.95.

“For travelers needing a TPA airport location there is simply nothing better than this, steps from the main terminal attached by a corridor (no need for a shuttle). Rooms are beautifully renovated and luxurious, and the beds are sumptuous. Food in the restaurants is excellent, and I would certainly stay there again.”

“First requested a smoking room and did not get it. Second, the staff is continuously brushing you off when you have a problem. Call and complaint about beds. Lots of feathers were on the bed cover and they were poking through the sheets like needles. Had to order an extra blanket, which was not in the room, to put over mattress so I can get a decent night sleep. When I complained about it in the morning they told me they knew about the problem but still let guests sleep in the bedroom. The service in the cafe or bar downstairs was terrible, they basically threw the plates of food on the table when they served. What pisses me off, I called Marriott customer service to complain about the room and nobody called me back.”

“This was an excellent hotel - great location, rooms, employees, great food at the restaurant. Very clean, very comfortable bed. Great bathroom, water pressure, hot water, etc. I loved it all around!”

• This hotel is extremely convenient for airport travelers.
• No complaints.

“The Marriott Tampa Airport is clean, comfortable, and extremely convenient for travelers. Our room was small, but nice. It looked as if it had been remodeled very recently. Surprisingly, we hardly noticed the airport noise. We were able to check- in over two hours early even though the hotel had been full the previous night. There are many convenient dining options in the hotel and the adjacent airport. Parking is free for hotel guests. For an early flight out of Tampa, you can't find a better hotel. We were at our gate less than 20 minutes after checking out.”

• It was nothing special.
• Charging for internet access, Paying $17.00 before tip for a breakfast buffet, that was good not great.

“The hotel was fine, but I didn't like being on the airport grounds. It really upsets me to have to pay for internet access. Most properties offer it for free. I will never stay there again. I used to stay at full service Marriott all the time but I don't anymore. Not only are their prices high, they get you for every extra imaginable. IE local phone, internet service, parking etc. Ritz Carleton does the same thing but the service and immunities are much better.”

• The bed was very comfortable for a hotel bed.
• There wasn't anything we didn't care for.

“We were very happy with the hotel. We were able to see the bay from our window and it was a beautiful sunset. The bed and bedding (goose down) was very comfortable. I told my husband it was the best night's sleep I have ever had in a hotel.”

“Very convenient, clean hotel. The revolving roof restaurant is unique and a definite plus. There are other good restaurants adjacent to the hotel offering variety of food. Overall an excellent hotel to stay!!”

“Marriott Hotel at Tampa airport is very convenient if you have some bussiness to do in that area. you do not need to walk out the airport. it is just inside the whole complex. front desk is very friendly. I recommend it to everyone!”

• I think 10.00 a day for internet access is a little pricey

“Everything was excellent as far as the rooms went. C.K.'s restaurant was a bit overpriced. The food was good, however, the atmosphere was just average. Service also, just average. Can't beat the convenience with respect to the airport.”

• It was located on airport and we were coming from a long flight so this was ideal

“The staff and hotel were excellent. when we arrived they were offering massagaes to customers. they also provided us with directions and suggestions to the area. I was very pleased with my stay”

• very clean and friendly
• customer service was extremely slow, had to wait on the valet for some time and we waited on the bellman long enough to carry our own things down stairs.

“very slow service, I believe that they were very understaffed the weekend we were there, everyone was friendly when you finally got someone, but it took forever to get anyone. we called for a bellman before we even packed, and still ended up carrying our things down in our arms because we were tired of the wait. same thing with valet if we could of gotten our own keys we probably would have gotten our own car as well.”

• It was a large room and very clean
• You could hear your neighbors, Toilet flushing, doors slamming, talking

“This is a great place to stay if you don't nimd the noise (bring some ear plugs). It was so convienent, not to have to go searching for a hotel at midnight (we had a late flight). The room was very clean. ”

• Modern, clean, high speed internet access (but not free), great bed
• internet is not free, yet hotel is obviously for business professionals. also net was not all that fast.

“Great location. Great beds. Nice, clean, up-to-date. Bed gets a 10 out of 10. Internet is $10 and not fast by broadband standards. Not so quiet being at airport, but expected. Surprisingly you will hear neighbors vacuum-flush toilets. Really, it was surpringly loud in the early AM hours.”

• Difficult to leave airport parking lot during peak times due to constant traffic around curve.

“The hotel is nice but on the airport location with the lobby opening to the airport. This is good for airline travelers but not for ones just visiting Tampa for pleasure or local attractions. The late check out is nice at 1 pm but the noise of airplanes did not make up for it.”

“This hotel exceeded our expectations. We were checked into the hotel within minutes. Walked up to the desk, gave them our name, were told that our room had been prepaid, and were handed the keys. We knew it was attached to the Tampa airport but were pleasantly surprised when we walked out of the hotel lobby, went by a few shops and were at the American Airlines ticketing desk. ”

• no cheap eats, not even a snack vending machine

“front desk personnel was very helpful, gave concise accurate directions to my land destination. Right there when I needed them. Easy check-out.

The quiet rooms and extra comfy and cozy beds, plus the cleanliness were the best points. Spacious rooms with all the amenities I require.”

• Gracious greeting by front desk personnel, close proximity to Airport, those wonderful down comforters!
• One sour waitress in the lounge.

“I was very pleased with my stay at the Marriott Tampa Airport Hotel! All of the personnel was helpful and smiled genuinely. Food service in the Flight Lounge" lacked a bit, but the tasty sandwiches and drinks more than made up for that.
The room was elegantly appointed, and the beds were exceptional, soft and "cushy" and with the prettiest down comforters to match. I would be ever so pleased to be matched up again with the Tampa Marriott Airport upon my next visit."”

• location is directly attached to the airport terminal
• staff had a general attitude of indifference to all customers

“Business class hotel attached to airport terminal offers the traveler a unique lodging experience based on location. The physical property is non-descript and shows serious signs of wear in public areas (worn carpeting, threadbare furniture in lounge and restaurant on lobby level). The staff was indifferent equally to all guests. I am not sure why this is, but each person from the front desk to the barmaid, restaurant server, parking valet each made me feel as if they were doing me a favor every step of the way.”
