• Location was clean, very accommodating to our needs. We loved it. Would go again anytime.
• We found socks, underwear and other things under the bed that werent ours.

“The Radisson was actually beyond our expectation for a 3 star. The Location was perfect! We could walk to most of the reason we went there. Only draw back was the ten dollar a night parking fee. Rooms were nice. Could have had a bigger vanity area. But over all we loved it! Would stay anytime. They were very accommodating to our needs. They even brought up a crib and extra pillows and blankets for her! Nice and friendly!”

• 1st room had unmade bed, 2nd was smoke filled, 3rd was o.k.

• The sleep numbers beds are awful.

“The sleep number beds in the hotel are awful. They aren't the kind of beds that should be in a hotel as you have to be able to find your "number", which takes trial and error. I have stayed here once before, but this time I think the bed was broken as well as it kept changing the sleep number throughout the night.”

• It was clean, nice, and right next to the Energy Solutions Arena. It made getting around downtown easy.
• The beds were terrible. They only have doubles and kings. They were sold out of kings.

“The overall stay was nice. Be prepared to pay an extra $10 for parking, if you're driving though. Also, it was a little bit disappointing to realize that the hotel has only double- and king-sized beds. That night they were all sold out of kings, so my wife and I had the "luxury" of sleeping in a double. Most of the beds in the hotel are Sleep Number, of which I'm not too fond of either. It's a nice hotel, and worth the price we paid.”

• The lobby, facilities, exercise, pool areas were very well kept and inviting.
• I did not love the sleep number beds.

“This hotel is an excellent place that is great for families, business, or recreational travelers. The facilities were very nice and very clean. The service was excellent and I would definitely recommend it to anyone in need of a moderate hotel with nice accommodations.”

• Staff rude, room required repairs, little TV channels, restaurant staff rude.

“Would not recommend hotel for simple facts of front desk staff asked for name credit card and here is your room keys, no direction, nothing. No amenities given, location of amenities such as where to park, location of pool or restaurant, elevators nothing. Restaurant staff: went to restaurant both nights and waited 15 minutes to be seated and was not seated, restaurant was nearly empty both times, one staff member said she would be with us in a sec, talked to another guest and made a personal phone call right in front of us, meanwhile a manager walked by asked us if we had been helped said no and he kept walking. Non smoking hotel, yet hallways were filled with the smell of marijuana, teenagers running all over and listening to drunks laughing all night down the halls, the ice machines didn't work on 3 different floors including ours both night.”

• Really nice pool, hot tub, sauna. Quiet room, great view. Very comfortable stay.
• Parking fees.

“Got a fabulous rate, even with the parking fees. Room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Wonderful pool area with hot tub, sauna & nice exercise area with big screen TV. On-site restaurant good food and OK price, kids menu is very affordable and of good quality. View of mountains and temple square wonderful! Will be coming back for sure!”

“It is and excellent hotel for the rating. I would rate it 3.5 star if possible. They have an excellent facility in an excellent location. The breakfast menu was the only thing that was a bit disappointing. The work out room and pool area was nice also.”

• The location of this hotel is excellent.
• We did not get any room service and the staff were not overly friendly about allowing anyone to check in a few minutes early.

“I was surprised when the hotel staff would not let us check in even 1/2 early. Staff continued to state the room was not ready "due a full house last night". The following day when returning to our room at 3 pm our cleaning service had not arrived. This was an inconvenience to us resulting in our room not getting cleaned at all. The hotel is in an excellent location right downtown near the shopping and fine dining. Lots of things for the children to do.”

• The pool and workout room were outstanding.
• There was a beer can under the bed and they didn't make the bed or bring in new towels after the first night.

“If you can handle little mistakes that everyone makes sometimes, like forgetting to pick up the empty beer can from under the bed, then this hotel's for you. If you plan on keeping your new year's resolution to get into shape, this hotel's for you. I couldn't get my husband to leave the workout room after the kids had had their fill of the pool.”

“Looks nice. Parking is not convenient and expensive. The rooms were dirty. I found broken glass on the floor in the hallway. The hot tub was very gross. It was not very warm and had dirt and small hair in the bubbles of the tub. The staff was not very helpful in finding places to eat. It is conveniently located near shopping and Temple Square.”

• In room heating/cooling is extremely noisy.

“Good location for events at Salt Palace, Energy solutions Arena, easy walk to Temple Square. Staff was generally competent, but not fantastic. The room was clean except for a few hairs left on the outside of the tub. The bed was comfortable. Unfortunately the in room heating/cooling system sounds like a small jet taking off, which can be disconcerting in the middle of the night!”

• They had a nice pool and exercise area.
• It is kind of difficult to locate and then leave to find a freeway.

“The Radisson is beautiful hotel. The lobby area looked nice but was not user friendly. We tried to find a place to visit with family in the lobby area but it isn't designed for people to actually sit down and use. The staff was not in any way friendly or helpful, maybe they are understaffed. Check in took a long time because the phones needed attention. I was the only person waiting but it still took almost 15 minutes.”

• The location was perfect, since we were attending a convention at the salt palace. We just had to walk out the door and it was right there.
• The room was small and the bed very uncomfortable.

“The location of the hotel is great if you have something at the salt palace or the energy solution center. The lobby is beautiful. The rooms are clean and nice, but very small. The bed wasn't very comfortable and was just a double. I have stayed at other Radissons before and have loved it. This one was kind of a disappointment. The staff was very efficient, courteous, and helpful. They charge $10 a night for parking. I think this is kind of a rip off. Overall, our stay was really nice. I would go back.”

• It has contracted parking instead of free parking to hotel guests.

• The bathtub/shower.

“The rooms were nice and we had a great view, very kind and helpful staff, however we were personally not very big fans of the sleep number beds they have. Also, we wish they would have had bigger nicer bathtub/showers, and we felt the hotel restaurant was overpriced for what we were given. The TV reception was pretty awful, but we did like the location as it was walking distance to the mall, many restaurants, temple square, and a number of attractions (the planetarium was fun!). Overall ok but not fabulous.”

“The hotel was full and had no two bed rooms available. At 10 pm at night and no where else to go it was miserable. I would have not booked this room unless I was guaranteed a two bed room! Thank goodness it was only one night. Staff said there was nothing they could do.”

• Like the location and manager was very accommodating.
• I did not like having to pay extra for parking in their garage.

“The room we had was originally a "two double bed" room, but the manager worked it out so we could have a king bed. However, the view was away from downtown overlooking a large roof and alleyway. Also, one of the rolls of bathroom tissue had brown stuff on it. Fortunately there was a second roll available.”

• Location, location, location. And good for price. Hotel is always willing to change king reservation to 2 doubles.
• No "kid places" to hang out (ball rooms were spilling out people in tuxedos).
