Subhajyoti B. from Gainesville, FL “Nice location, quiet. Less than a mile from highway exit, but not too close. Furnishings seemed somewhat old amd moldy, especially the carpets and curtains were really drab. But free breakfast was really good, lots of choices. Free parking. Friendly staff. Restaurant on premises, another Chili's nearby.” May 25, 2005 by
Riggs from Nashville, TN “I arrived late so I didn't have the opportunity to enjoy much about this hotel as I departed early a.m. as well for the airport.” May 25, 2005 by
Gregg from Las Vegas, NV
“A late check in did not present a problem. Desk personnel were attentative and friendly. Overall the hotel is very impressive for a 2.5 star. It was clean and quiet. Bottled water for two awaited in the room. Other than a problem with the included high speed internet, staining on the furniture upholstery, some visible mold in the shower and loose fixtures on the sink our room was clean, enjoyable and homey. Actually better than some 3 and 4 stars I have recently stayed in. A great bonus is the buffet breakfast in the lobby. A complete all you can eat meal with all of the extras, kept fresh and hot. Check out was a breeze. An easy 8 out of 10 points in my book.” May 25, 2005 by
Jason from New York, NY
“Satisfactory accomodations, though hotel staff was apathetic in general.” May 7, 2005 by
Kent from Modesto, CA
“The hotel overall exceeded my expectations for the price in the San Diego area.” May 6, 2005 by
James from Winona, MN “It's going to become a Country Inn and Suites soon.” Apr 28, 2005 by
Jennifer from Tempe, AZ
“The Prime Hotel will soon become a Country Inn and Suites. Under the current ownership, it is a nice hotel with amenities standard for its star rating. The beds were comfortable but not exceptional. We didn't have maintenance issues or use room service, so our contact with the employees was minimal. The only minor annoyance was that the maid did not leave additional soap and shampoo the second day even though we tipped well.” Apr 26, 2005 by
Rick from American Fork, UT
“This is a nice hotel in a business district. It was 15 minutes from Sea World and 10 minutes from the beach. Overall it was a nice hotel in a decent central location. Keep in mind it is primarily a business hotel.” Apr 22, 2005 by
Jaime from Randolph, MA
“For what we paid for we got a lot. The staff was extra helpful. When we asked for a good restaurant they not only gave recommendations they printed off directions to make sure we knew how to get there. The hotel was about 10 minutes away from the beaches and downtown San Diego. I will definitely stay at the Prime hotel if it's available on our next trip.” Apr 22, 2005 by
Deborah from Eagle River, AK
“Overall a really nice spot. I don't think the young gals at the front desk made it horrible (I was really needing help to access messages and they were less than kind or helpful to me). Nice destination and restaurant.” Apr 20, 2005 by
Hadi from West Bloomfield, MI “They overbooked on Wednesday night (April 13) and sent us to a different hotel of lower quality. We were very unhappy with their action and their hotel choice.” Apr 18, 2005 by
Dan from Las Vegas, NV
“Prime hotel has all the features I look for in a hotel. Parking is free in ample availability around the hotel, there is a restaurant, bar, pool and spa on the property. The rooms are clean and roomy with stylish modular furniture. The work station includes a very nice Herman Miller chair and free wireless internet. A daily paper is delivered, and bottled water is supplied. Prime is located just blocks away from the freeway, and there are many shopping centers and restaurants within a 3 mile radius. Overall I rate Prime a great hotel for business travelers.” Apr 17, 2005 by
Mike from Hartford, CT
“Great rooms, nice staff, nice amenities, exceeded my expectations for some 3 star rating hotels” Apr 7, 2005 by

Alex from Chandler, AZ
“If you don't mind staying a little ways from downtown San Diego and the beach, this is a good hotel for the price. The rooms are large enough for a family of 4 and they have free wireless internet access. There are several restaurants close by and easy freeway access.” Mar 16, 2005 by
Kelly from Riverside, CA
“The rooms are very nice location is good a bit over priced just because it's in the San Diego area. The staff is very nice and attentive but the resteraunt could be open more hours there was no place to get an early breakfast.” Mar 7, 2005 by
Ray from St. Petersburg, FL
“Great location, Chili's next door, good access to the I-805. Always a pleasure to stay here.” Mar 5, 2005 by

“The hotel staff was friendly while the premises were well groomed and clean. The rooms were fairly large and had a well laid-out desk area for work or reading. The hot water in the shower came on fast. A framed picture in the center elevator was hanging loosely and upside down due to a broken nail, but it appeared to have been fixed by the next morning. Nevertheless, a solid 3-star hotel.” Feb 24, 2005 by
Vicki from Bakersfield, CA
“Other than not being able to order room service and having to leave to get dinner, everything else was great. Would stay there again.” Feb 24, 2005 by
Stuart from Stevenson Ranch, CA
“excellent accommodations, especially for the money.” Feb 17, 2005 by
Julia from Wildomar, CA
“This hotel was impressive in the main areas as I would expect for a three star. I was not as impressed with the rooms appearance. The room was roomy and comfortable with conveniences for the business traveler; nice office chair at table, dinning chair and also a comfortable sitting chair. It was hard to look past the yucky carpet with discolorations.” Feb 16, 2005 by
Honey from Gardena, CA
“Very nice and friendly. Looks very nice and clean. Good service.” Jan 12, 2005 by
Darrin from Las Vegas, NV
“The staff was great. There was a problem with the first room I was in. The heater was broken and they moved me quickly and efficiently and with no attitude which I thought was great.” Jan 12, 2005 by
Paul from Fort Pierce, FL
“The lack of attention to their customer's needs was incredible. ” Jan 11, 2005 by
Gautam from Woodland Hills, CA
“All in all, a very good experience. Would definitely like to go back.” Jan 6, 2005 by
Bonnie from Wailea, HI
“Our hotel, Prime Hotel, changed hands so doesn''t have a business office any more so we could not check our email there. It was a major bummer for us.” Dec 8, 2004 by
Julie W. from Seattle “We were very disappointed with this hotel. There were food crumbs all over the floor. The hotel was run down and the service was just average. This hotel definitely does not come close to a three star rating.” Dec 1, 2004 by
Calvin H. from San Jose “The bed was the most comfortable motel bed I have ever slept in.” Nov 11, 2004 by
“Overall, a very nice hotel, especially in light of the low price I paid, which I figured to be about 45% of normal rate. Appears to be well run hotel with spacious suite and excellent food service.” Nov 10, 2004 by
“Just had a few minor problems like the toilet does not flush and the counter sink and tub does not drain. They should make sure that before someone checks in that everything should be in order, but the maintenance took care of it right away.” Oct 20, 2004 by
“I had stayed at this hotel before prior to it changing to Prime Hotel in May of this year. The hotel is nice and clean. We checked in late due to being out during the day but I called in the morning to inform the front desk and confirm. Upon arriving, there was a challenge getting one of our rooms as they were supposedly full and didn't have our request. Eventually, we got to our room. The room was fine. We went to the breakfast buffet as we had done last year. The food this time was only average and we had to wait for them to find the chef to cook the omelettes and waffles.” Oct 18, 2004 by
“I was upgraded from a 2.5 star bid to a 3 star, at a remarkable price of $50. I had never stayed in a Prime Hotel before, but I would recommend it most highly. Particularly helpful was the free wireless internet access, which is becoming essential to business travel.” Oct 13, 2004 by
“Overall it was a good place. The disappointments were that they had Showtime, not HBO, and no facial tissue dispenser.” Oct 6, 2004 by
Fran D. from Winterhaven “Our stay at Prime was the best hotel we have ever stayed at. The bed was so comfortable and the way it was turned down was so inviting. The refreshments we asked for were waiting in the room upon our arrival! Can't wait to go somewhere again so we can stay at a Prime Hotel.” Sep 29, 2004 by
Kiran P. from New York, NY “Clean and neat place. Food is on the pricey side at the restaurant--$15 to $20 for a dinner entree on average. Free wireless Net access in all rooms, though reception is poor in some rooms.” Sep 25, 2004 by
Linda H. from Sun City “My friend and I spent 4 days here. The service was very good. The staff were helpful. The rooms were clean and the linens on the bed were changed daily. It was close to areas we wanted to visit. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The only thing missing was a pool. I would go back there again .” Sep 22, 2004 by
Stanley M. from Daly City “Room TV could not access room account on a daily basis. Local phone charges of $.75 plus tax is excessive. Restaurant was not open for dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings. If given the opportunity to stay there again, would I? Yes, but I wont use their phone for local calls. Better to use my out of area cell phone. Dial up internet access was bad. Staff was great at desk and lounge.” Sep 13, 2004 by
Heather W. from Hereford, AZ “Everything was beyond what I expected. The staff was not very nice at all. We stayed for two nights and each day at the front desk were young people who sat there and talked to each other and if you asked a question they felt bothered by you. They were very rude. But the hotel and the rooms were beautiful I was expecting a really run down hotel for the price I paid but this was a four star hotel with a limo and all.” Sep 10, 2004 by
Endang P. from San Pedro “Everything good, except that they run out of crib(Ihave 13 mth baby) on the first day, which is they give us complimentary breakfast for that, and did they need to clean the pool on saturday morning and closed the pool since the day before?” Sep 8, 2004 by
Louis H. from Vienna “Hotel was very nice overall. Would have been nice to have had a Business Center. Pool was not clean, but everything else was. Rooms were very nice and beds were fantastic.” Sep 8, 2004 by
Robert T. from Mesa “My two night stay at Prime Hotels and Resorts on Lusk Road in San Diego was excellent. The suite rooms were absolutely excellent and the hotel staff was very helpful and accommodating. It was one of the best price bargains that I have ever experienced. I also had the breakfast buffet one morning and it was also excellent. I am a very pleased customer.” Hotel Representatives:
