• It was close to airport yet in a quieter part of town.
• The lunch menu was not to my liking.

“This Radisson location is consistent with other properties operated by this chain. You can expect clean, comfortable guestrooms, with plush beds and linens. It is a great location from which to get into Phoenix, Scottsdale, Arizona highways, and back to the airport.”

• Convenient location for travel in and around Phoenix.
• Carpets were very loud and tacky, walls not very sound proof.

“Very handy location for us as we went all over Phoenix, being close to the 202 loop was useful. Staff were very professional, lobby and bar area very clean. The beds were excellent, but the carpets were like something out of Las Vegas, loud and tacky! For the price it was certainly worth it and I would stay there again.”

• Location and airport shuttle and parking.
• The A/C is very loud and woke us up several times.

“The only thing I did not like was the A/C unit in the room. When it came on, which happened about every 20 min, it was very loud and work us up on several occasions. It would have been nice if you could adjust the speed of the fan, it was always on high when it came on.”

• The room was laid out nicely.
• The bed was extremely uncomfortable, the worst I have slept on.

“The hotel was in the middle renovations with many areas not visually appealing. It is conveniently located, but because of heavy road construction, it was not easily accessible. I do not recommend the sleep number beds. Again, this was one of the worst night's rest I've had. I spent an hour trying to get comfortable and never succeeded.”

• The lady that run the bar area was really helpful and friendly. She served us food the way we wanted it in a timely and friendly manner.
• There was no bottled water in my room and the vending machine on my floor was out of order and kept my money.

“My room was neat and clean. My bed was well made and comfortable. The temperature in the room was maintained at 74, very comfortable. I had everything that I needed except drinking water. The food in the restaurant was tasty and attractively presented. The air conditioner was very noisy. If there was any other noise happening in the hotel, it was masked by the air conditioner. This hotel was in remodel mode. This made the place dusty and unattractive in some areas. The majority of front desk personnel were indifferent to the quality of service rendered.”

• Easy to find, plenty of free parking, food was good.

“The hotel was undergoing massive renovations. On check-in we were given a room that was not ready for guests due to construction. Our second room had a blade from a utility knife on the bathroom counter. I turned it into the desk staff. There were nails and screws on the floors of the halls and ice machine nooks where anyone could have stepped on them. I picked up what I saw and called the desk staff to let them know about it. It took over an hour for someone to answer the room service phone on our last morning due to a large group in the dinning room.”

• I was very happy with the comfort of the bed and also the look. All the white linens where beautiful.
• My only complaint was oatmeal, toast, coffee and juice was too much money. As usual, hotel food prices.

“Everyone was friendly and I had the most beautiful view looking north. After a long day working it was wonderful coming back and relaxing in the room with a view of a lot of sky and the mountains. I enjoyed that!”

“This hotel is a truly excellent value for travelers who want to be near the Phoenix airport. When the renovations are complete it will be tough to beat. The room has a wonderful bed, high speed Internet, lovely furnishings, marble bathroom - you get the idea. The staff is very helpful. The lobby bar is very comfortable. All in all an excellent value.”

• The room was excellent. I especially enjoyed the "Sleep Number" function on the bed. The layout of the room was exceptional.
• The only bad thing about the hotel was the breakfast selection. I would have enjoyed a continental breakfast as opposed to ordering from the menu.

“This is an excellent hotel. I will stay here again when I visit Phoenix. I really enjoyed the room. I wish the hotel offered a continental breakfast. Thanks!”

• Great location, tastefully redecorated room, good price.
• No hot breakfast, ham and eggs, from room service.

“The hotel is in the midst of renovation. My room had recently been redecorated and I like the new look. Parking was limited because the workers' vehicles and dumpsters. Ice machines were not always working. When I finally found ice, I could not get elevator. I had to wait 10 minutes after calling the operator to rescue me from the 7th floor. Room service only offered cold breakfasts.”

• Great Staff. Quiet. Clean. Nice Bar. Nice work-out room.
• Soda machine only had one (diet coke) sugar-free selection.

“Good experience. It is not a spa, but a good quality business related hotel near the airport. Shuttle service was excellent for those who are on business and do not rent a car. Half way between Paradise Valley and Airport. Easy access to downtown Phoenix, I-10 and Arizona 202.”

• The room layout and the atmosphere of the bar/lounge.
• Would have liked the bar/lounge to be open later.

“All of the stafff were friendly and helpful. The bar/lounge was a very relaxing area and our room was very comfortable.”

• In a book in the room, it talks about their special beds, but I did not get this special bed.

• It was located very close to the airport, major shopping centers and the highway. It was gorgeous!

“The Radisson was lovely. The hotel manager allowed us to stay in the pool past the normal hours, the bartender ordered pizza for us at no expense to us. The rooms were large and had everything listed on the brochure and the sweetest treat were the sleep number beds, GRRREAT!”

• Restaurant service was poor, but rectified when I complained.

• The food in the restaurant was excellent and resonably priced.
• They could not find our reservation and we had to wait or a room for quite some time.

“Overall the hotel met our expectations. The spa was not in working order. The heat breaker kept tripping and the jet timer was in need of repair. They did not have a bell person or very few available for helping with our luggage. No valet parking.”

• Told by one employee that I could eat lunch in the bar. When I returned I found that the bar didn't even open until 4PM.
• Restaurant! Bar!!

“The rooms were very nice. However, for a 3.5 star hotel I would expect the facilities like the restaurant, bar, etc., to be more available. I ended up eating at the DoubleTree Hotel across the street. Will most likely not return to the Prime Hotel...too many other choices with better amenities available.”

• Rotten egg odor in bathrooms--strong in 1st, tolerable in 2nd

“I asked for a 3 star hotel and the posted room rates are very high. The bathrooms had a smell of raw sewage (I had a cold and had to ask to be changed from the first. There was no problems with that. The second room still had the smell of rotten eggs but it was less perceptible (remember I had a cold)) The lock on the bathroom door was reversed--couldn't lock it from the inside of the bathroom--only the outside!--not worth even the amount I paid for this room much less the hundreds of the posted rates.”

• Water was shut off for maintenance but nothing was said to patrons. Hi speed internet did not work

“Not a bad place to stay but I think for the same price I will think about staying at another place. Jacuzzi was not hot and unscheduled maintenance on water was not passed onto those staying in the Hotel.”

• The front staff assisted in printing out boading passes saving us alot of time and worries!
• The breakfast buffet was over priced!

“Overall this hotel was fine for one night. There was no refrigerator in the room as expected which was a big disappointment. I also expected a suite for the price and ended up with a standard one room and a king size bed. Everything was clean, however, if I had to spend more the one night at the price I paid I would not be happy with this as one of the choose for a 3 star hotel.”

“The first non-smoking room they put us in smelled strongly of smoke and the room was dark. The second room was much better, but the air con didn't work so well. It did have free hi-speed wireless internet access, which was nice, the bed was comfortable and the room was set up nicely for working.”

“It's a shame that such a nice, clean, well situated motel had to cheap out on the cooling system. Amenities are above average, the staff was courteous, and the room layout is excellent. The air conditioner put out excessive noise with minimal cooling, an undesirable combination. ,”

“I was given this room across from the banquet rooms, so it was a little noisy. The room was clean, etc. They charged a bit for an 800 phone call which seemed like a rip off. But they also offered free internet.”
