• Close to amenities, clean rooms.
• No fridge in rooms, no free internet, $1 local calls, $10 to park in public spots.

“If you do not eat, email, telephone, or drive, this is the perfect hotel for you! On our first night, we had no fridge in the room, and were told that "all available fridges have been taken already"? What kind of a hotel puts 44" LCD flat screens in every room, but can't afford a $99 mini fridge? Then the internet, and parking. Why is it that the more luxurious the hotel, the less they give away? Once again I was met with the road warrior's bane; cabled internet to the room, at $20/day (no WiFi). Parking was no better - hotel parking was in the mall parkade across the street, where shoppers can park for free, but I had to pay $10 a day for what they call self park. Great, $10 to park it myself. Next time, I'll probably get charged $10 for self-suitcase too. The hotel failed to deliver.”

• The location is wonderful, so many fun things to do. Feels like a city hotel but quiet!
• The restaurant wasn't very clean.

“I loved the location of the hotel right in Redmond Square, so many things to do and lots of restaurants. It was fun to feel like you were in a city, but it was quiet and easy to get around. The rooms are very nice and the lobby and surrounding area was very appealing to the eye.”

• The sheets and comforter were heavenly.
• The high price for parking that was not disclosed.

“The sheets, comforter and feather pillows made my stay absolutely heaven! The hotel was very clean. I liked having the shopping and movies within walking distance. Parking is $10/night for self park and $19/nt for valet. I was not expecting that. Overall, a great place to stay.”

• Nice atmosphere, fireplace, clean.
• Parking was a pain, restaurant had a 45 minute wait on a Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m.

“Warm environment, close to shops, I assumed there were two queen beds, only to find one king, we had to arrange two air beds and no blankets were provided. Restaurant was not accommodating, long waits and not a knowledge staff, friendly, but not helpful on information.”

• It was close to everything-nice shopping area.
• Restaurant was too expensive and bar and restaurant never allowed us to eat because either too busy or never opened.

• The rooms were attractive and the bedding was comfortable.
• I did not receive a promised newspaper or express checkout bill on my day of departure.

The printer in the hotel's little computer room did not work, so I could not print my boarding pass in advance. • Good sized room, excellent location, can spend the whole day w/out leaving the area.
• Had to pay $10 for overnight parking, should be free.

“Nice hotel, clean, good size rooms. Location is the best part though. Lots of shopping and dining when you step out of the hotel. Area is clean, safe and very family friendly.”

• Very pleasantly surprised - attractive, friendly & courteous staff, good location.
• Found a foreign hair in bath towel but was replaced by housekeeping.

“Overall had a very nice experience, except for the long hair found in the bath towel. Housekeeping came in to replace right away. Hotel offered a free dessert (but we had just a big dinner) or movie (too tired) or 2,000 Marriot points, we declined these offers but accepted a breakfast buffet for 2 of the next morning.”

• A great value at the price I paid for a superb suite.
• The price of parking.

“Nestled in an attractive new open-air shopping complex, this lovely, well-maintained and superbly staffed hotel delivered a delightful sojourn. We encountered friendly, efficient front desk and bell staff paired with attractive well=appointed rooms and plush beds. Plenty of appealing, affordable eateries just steps away and a movie theater across the street. Just a short, easy drive to the 520 and 405 roadways, so fairly convenient to all Seattle has to offer.”

“We were the first ones to the pool on our last morning there. The night before there were no towels for their towel service, and still no towels the next morning. There were no signs saying not to go in the pool but they had only just serviced their pool with chlorine and I swam under water with my eyes open for no more than 3 laps and suffered burning eyes and blurred vision requiring medical treatment that day and into the next day. If I were still in the city of the hotel I would be considering legal action for the pool incident and my vision problems.”

“The hotel is very new so everything is clean and pretty. We did not use the pool area. Staff was very friendly. Directions on Marriott's site are incorrect - call for better. Located in a shopping area with outdoor kid's play area and movie theater right across the street. Downer for me. I hate being charged for Internet access. Cheaper hotels offer this for free. Marriott charges you $3 min + per minute charges to use their business center and more if you want access in the room. Otherwise, fabulous stay.”

• Great location near shops, coffee, ice cream, park, etc.
• I was charged an extra $11 for parking above and beyond the price.

“This beautiful new hotel is part of the Redmond Town Center Shopping area. Walk literally 30 seconds from the hotel and you're have coffee or watching a movie. Walk 1.5 minutes and you're at a bookstore, shopping for clothes, etc. Very near to huge Marymoor Park (tennis, rock climbing, dog park, softball/baseball, velodrome, picnic area, etc.) and lovely Sammamish-Burke/Gilman trail - a walking/biking trail that runs all the way around Lake Washington into Seattle (if you want to go that far.)”

• No on site parking. Expensive parking available nearby.

“Great location, near to shopping and restaurants. Very safe area. My wife and I walked back to the hotel at 10:30 pm after dinner with no hesitation. Good value. No on site parking is an annoyance. Valet parking is available, but expensive. I will return to this hotel if we are in the Redmond or Bellevue area.”

• The staff was the most friendly and helpful of any place I have stayed in quite some time.
• The bed was a little hard for my taste. The shower had some mildew.

• A microwave would have made it perfect; no quick check-out.

• The food at the restaurant was horrible. My entire family became ill after eating breakfast there.

“The location was excellent. Wish it was a bit more family friendly, for example, needs indoor pool/hot tub. Also, need to accommodate families a bit more by providing more double bed rooms. Front desk did neglect to recognize that our room was pre-paid, therefore, my credit card was charged twice.”

• The hotel was clean, they have a very nice workout facility, pool and hot tub. The best part was the hotel was steps away from a great shopping mall.
• One has to pay for parking.

“The desk clerk went out of their way to put us in the right room instead of the king, we got two beds. The desk staff made sure we got a detailed map to get us to the doubletree in Bellevue. They even called our room to see if there was anything we needed. I was very impressed!”

• Most comfortable beds I have experienced in a hotel.
• No negative comments. I would however only rate their restaurant as average.

• The location was great, with all the easy walk to supporting shops.
• I believe that the directions to the hotel from their website should be looked at, we did have trouble in locating the hotel with these instructions.

• We were STUCK with a smoking room.

“The hotel was nice. It was worth the price except there were so many add on charges as internet and parking. It actually cost more in the long run than any of the other places we stayed on our two week vacation. ”

• Very clean and beautifully decorated. Located in a nice shopping area.
• The parking is a complete joke. You have to pay $12 a night to use valet, or pay $8 for a pass to park across the street at the mall lot.

“Everything was nice and fancy, but that's about it on the positive side. Housekeeping threw out a bag of our souvenirs, we had to pay to park at our own hotel, there were no perks such as a complimentary breakfast, fridge in room, or microwave in room. I would have expected some of these things for as much as we paid.”

• Located in Redmond City Center - a gem of Seattle!
• Even with some knowledge of Seattle, hard to find, but directions were good.

“Beautiful, quaint little spot! Staff were friendly and helpful, and attentive - very interactive. Cozy city center was great to spend the day on Saturday in the open market with its fine jewelry makers, fresh produce and florists. Great! I'd like to go back to this hotel!”

“The staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome. We were given free valet parking since I was on crutches which helped my wife a lot. The shopping is very close by, within walking which my wife loved.”
