“The valet staff tried to strong arm my group for 4 valet charges (2 if I paid cash) when we parked 4 motorcycles in one spot. The on duty manager was little help.”

“From beginning to end, the staff bent over backwards to offer the shuttle, directions, and even a suggestion for reduced-price parking when we asked(from the valet, no less!) I called for foam pillows and they were delivered within minutes. Top notch.”

• Location, cleanliness, restaurant was excellent (including staff).
• Staff not that friendly and we expected valet parking to include taking bags to room for us.

“The only complaint we had was valet parking did not include them carrying our bags to room for us.
And for $22 per day, we expected that. The staff wasn't that friendly either. They weren't mean. Just not friendly.”

“This was one of the best hotels I have stayed at in the Pittsburgh area. I would definitely stay here again. The rooms are tastefully decorated, the location is great, the staff is wonderful. You do not have to wait forever for your car like you do at some places with valet parking. Lots of places to eat within walking distance.”

“Great central location - downtown, Point State Park, theaters, the Strip, and the T are all very walkable. Staff is super friendly, and the shuttle is a great plus. Room was large, spotless, and well-appointed. The walls seemed very thin - the noise level from other guests was surprisingly quite high.”

• The view of the city at night and street life of this hotel was fantastic.
• Parking is an issue but then it always is in downtown Pittsburgh.

• I liked the cleanliness and staff reception very much.
• I disliked the parking options. Valet parking is wonderful but can be expensive.

• Hotel Front desk staff, valet parking staff.
• That I had to pay for parking.

“Fabulous beds and living areas in our 9th floor room. I had a quiet enjoyable stay and was allowed to check in early (10:30am). The staff really went out of their way to make sure all my questions were answered. Valet even washed my windows, gave me walking directions to one of his favorite no frills but wonderful food restaurants. I would stay here in a heart beat.”

“From the moment we walked into the lobby it was wonderful. They had a valet service for our car. We were able to check-in early. We walked to Heinz Field for a game and walked back. They got our car for us and parked it for us in the evening. The room was wonderful. It was quiet and spacious.”

• I didnt like that I was not told that continental breakfast was not free.

“The courtyard by Marriott in downtown Pittsburgh is a great location, and within walking distance to many attractions. However, be warned, the continental breakfast is not free, and you are not informed of this until after you have gotten your meal. The valet parking was mandatory, but a wonderful feature because dealing with parking anywhere within the vicinity of downtown Pittsburgh would be a nightmare.”

“Wonderful hotel overall. The best part is the location which is right on the strip. Bars, restaurants and close to everything! The staff was great and the room was in excellent condition. If this hotel had a pool, I would have been my favorite hotel of all time.”

• The staff was extremely helpful. We were grateful for all the assistance we received.
• The clothes rack in the wardrobe wasn't high enough to hang an evening gown. It also smelled like stinky feet. They really should spray it.

“We had a very good time in Pittsburgh and the hotel staff made the wedding, we attended, enjoyable. Great directions from the valet.”

“The staff was friendly. No smoking in the entire hotel. 10-15 min walk to most places. The high ceiling was a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again! Advice: There is cheaper parking around the block. If you need a smoke go to the 3rd floor patio.”

• The rooms were beautiful!
• The only parking was valet for 22 per day. Be sure to factor this into the price.

“This hotel was just beautiful. The rooms were great the lobby was great. The location was excellent for those Downtown vacationers. The only gripe I had was the cost of parking which was valet for $22 per day. Plus don't forget tipping for valet. For those who won't utilize the unlimited in and out, then there are public parking a block away for $10. All in all I had an excellent time at this hotel.”

• Across street from convention center but didn't have door opening that way, had to walk around corner. Nuisance in inclement weather.

• Very clean and modern; there was a rubber duck in the bathroom.
• The bed and furniture were a little bit too firm to be comfortable.

“Clean and modern hotel in a convenient location; close to bars and restaurants, as well as theater. Parking is somewhat inconvenient if not using valet, because the nearest garage is about a block and a half away. Given the price, quality, and location, I would stay here again.”

“The hotel was perfect for what we needed. My husband, 4-month-old daughter and I needed a hotel to stay at while we attended a function at the Omni William Penn. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel as well as the friendliness of the staff. They were also very helpful. The rooms were very quiet and nicely decorated. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.”
