• It was pretty comfortable and the room was fairly large. I liked that it had a kitchenette. It's a no frills hotel, good for a quick overnight stay.
• Staff at the front desk was not all that friendly. I was apprehensive about the neighborhood, but had no problems.

“Great for a quick overnight stay. We just needed a place to sleep but was surprised at the large room. Also had a full size fridge, microwave and small stove. In all we were happy with the hotel.”

• The kitchen available in the room.
• The location was rather remote. No restaurants, shopping or movies without getting on freeway.

“This hotel was relatively quiet and clean, given the busy weekend I was there. It was good to have a kitchen stocked with utensils, as it was a bit of a drive to restaurants.”

• Comfy bed and bedding, fluffy towels.
• Very noisy where our room was-too much traffic noise.

“Nice hotel, not the greatest location in an industrial area. Lots of semis and motorcycles roaring by and stopping outside all night long using their "Jake brakes" If our room had been somewhere other then right on the corner it probably would've been quieter. Really used the fridge, esp. to make ice to take in our coolers.”

• The only 2 restaurants around were Subway and McDonalds.

• Best deal I have had this year.
• Industrial location.

“Everything done right. Brand new mattresses, fast wireless connection (most motels/hotels are terribly slow), exercise room, courteous staff, comfortable recliner and desk chair, nice room layout.”

• Great accommodations for even a weekend traveler like myself.
• N/A-I couldn't find one bad thing about it.

“From the first friendly contact of the woman at the front desk to checkout, I was very impressed by the hotel. Our room was clean and orderly on our arrival. There are so many features about this hotel that make me want to stay there again: fitness center, "candle wood pantry", easy to access (right off the Bells Rd. exit of 64).”

• Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean.
• It was fine - no complaints at all.

“Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and we had all the amenities listed. This is the second time we stayed at this hotel and would be glad to stay again.”

• Cleanliness, customer service.

“Arrived at the hotel at 2 AM. Check in desk was closed. We had our keys in a locker and were asked to key in our last name and retrieve. Did not work. Called a number and were told to now try our first name. Worked. Went up to room and it was a smoking room, lots of butts in ashtray and was dirty with an unmade bed and dirty bathroom. Called again an reported mistake. Were asked to go back down and were handed another room key. It was a nightmare. I've stayed at other Candlewoods and liked them but this was no good.”

• I like the extended stay atmosphere.
• There was no stopper for the bathtub to take a bath.

“This hotel was clean, quiet. Employees were very friendly and helpful. They offered movies for the guest. Just enjoyed staying at this hotel.”

• Cleanliness of room, pleasantness and friendliness of staff.
• Only 1 G-rated video selection.

“The hotel had easy access to/from I95. Although the general location of the hotel appeared to be an industrial area, the hotel property was neat and pleasant. The staff was extremely helpful. The exercise facility and laundry were excellent. We had a very pleasant stay and would return if we are in the area again.”

• Friendly staff, nice room.
• Heater or A/C was set to sensor that did not work so ac would come on in the middle of the night.

“If they would fix their sensor control, our stay would have been much nicer, I turned the fuse off and the rest of the stay was very good.”

• Convenience, set up of room, saved some money by having a kitchenette, lovely outdoor area to relax.
• Bed was a little uncomfortable

“we, we very pleased. we picked this hotel foe placation, we were traveling with our daughters soccer team and other family's stayed at a well known hotel, paid allot more and did not have all the convinces we had. loved, the kitchenette, the recliner in the room, bathroom was spacious, and havening complimentary washer and dryer was great, also the nice patio area outside is a great feature. we had wonderful heater so when our events where done we came back and relaxed outside. employee's where very helpful and friendly I would tell a friend or coworkers to try out a candle wood hotel anytime they where traveling and there was one available for them. I would rate it very good.”

• Staff was very cordial and helpful. Went out of the way to assist me in understanding some of their features.
• Was not enough staff available. I went to the front desk several times but there was no one there other than when I checked in.

“Though this hotel is not surrounded by lovely grounds, has no pool and the closed restaurant is a Mickey D attached to a service station quickie mart, the room was clean, the limited staff were friendly and it was easy to find, right off Rt 95.
The access to the hotel itself was not so easy, but once you knew to enter via the left turn into the Ramada next door, you were fine. I would not recommend to your friends expecting 3+star accommodations, but it was certainly adequate just to spend the night or if you had temporary job assignment for a short time.”

• You can check out movies with no cost.
• We had to stay another night due to weather
