• Very convenient to Universal, our destination.
• Have to pay for parking and to use the safe.

“Clean, but a few repairs needed to be made in our room. The shower curtain was so long it was difficult to avoid stepping on. Had 2 toilet paper holders, but neither was snug enought to hold a roll of toilet paper. Never had to pay to park at the hotel I was staying at before...wasn't worth $12.00 a night. For such an upscale hotel, I think they could 'afford' to let you use the safe for free. VERY expensive breakfast.”

• Beds were comfy, large TV.
• Charged for in-room safe, and also for parking.

“I have never before been charged for the use of the in room safe. We also had to pay an extra $12 a day for parking. Bathtub drain fixture broken. Room had a fridge, no microwave, and a super small 2 cup coffeemaker. We did not use the coffeemaker since it was not very clean.”

• crank calls and knock on the door and phone all night. Nothing the hotel staff could do about it.

“Over ran with teen unchaparoned and the staff said they know it is happening but there is nothing that can be done. The kids made life for other guest horrible. They were rude to other guest and spit on the floors and in the elivators.”

• The room smelled of mildew odor was terrible.

“Nice and close to Universal. Front desk staff very helpful. The room smelled terribly of mildew, I think. Even a lot of air freshener could not get the smell out. Gourmet cookies at check-in were a nice touch.”

“The manager of this hotel was smug and had no interest in explaining the hotels misrepresentation of not including the parking fee in the price of the hotel. This is not New England and nowhere near exclusive!”

• Pay parking $12 per day, pay for internet $11 per day.

“Probably would not stay at this hotel again because of the pay parking, the charge for internet and no free breakfast. Many hotels in the immediate area did not charge for parking and offered at least a Continental breakfast.”

• Beautifully refurbished interiors with Starbuucks coffee shop.
• I would have preferred not to pay $ 12 - $ 16 extra for parking each night.

“Beautiful recently refurbished and decorated hotel, clean, friendly staff, good restaurant, Starbucks coffee shop and free shuttle to Universal Studios which is directly across the street. We paid $ 16.00 per night for valet parking but we didn't have to pay for parking at Universal Studios which balances out the expense. We recommend this hotel.”

• Very centralized location.
• No free wireless. Extra charges for parking daily.

“The hotel would be an adequate jumping off point for the theme park visiting family, but not suited to many other travelers needs. The thirteen dollar per day wireless charge and twelve dollar per night parking fees that weren't part of the room rate just gave the place a truly cheap nickel and dime feeling.”

• Perfect and convenient location to Orlando Universal attractions.

“Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The hotel was convenient to the Universal Studio attractions, which was our reason for travel and the staff were courteous. The restaurants were clean but pricey - would not recommend if you are on a vacation budget and these days when traveling with the family we're all on a vacation budget. Overall the experience was great. I would highly recommend this hotel as well as Priceline.”

“Clean, nice size rooms with comfortable beds. Attractive hotel that was very convenient to Universal studios. Big pool and hot tub area. Kids loved it. I would definitely stay here again if I was traveling to Orlando.”

• They charge extra for everything parking, safe, internet, phone.

“At Doubletree I was surprised over the extra charges $12 per night parking, $13 per night for Internet. $3 per night for safe use, $2 per local phone call, not happy about the hiding extra costs.”

• Clean, friendly staff.
• Paying twelve dollars to park at a hotel where I'm staying is ridiculous.

“Very clean, recently remodeled rooms. Had a nice view from the sixteenth floor. I worked out in the small gym, which had a dozen or so machines. The low point was paying twelve dollars to park in the hotel where I was staying.”

• Very convenient and easy to get in and out.
• Restaurant seemed a little pricey for breakfast.

“Hotel was very clean, rooms were very nice. TV's were awesome. It was centrally located for many of the attractions. Shower in my room had great water pressure, I love that! Over all it was a great experience.”

• The welcome cookie, the comfortable bedding, Carnevale's meals and Sangria.
• The fan/air conditioner prevented us from sleeping every night, although there was an effort to fix it, it remained jolting, each time it restarted.

“Suitable for conventions; too noisy in the foyer; where the internet access is available. The coffee machine spilled everywhere when I tried to make only one filter /cup. I took a shower cap and it was taken away during clean-up. When I called the front desk said they don't provide shower caps! Nice cookie; good tasting coffee; awesome bedding.”

• Location was good.
• Nickel and dime you to death.

“This hotel was not a 3.5 star hotel. I expect more from a Hilton property than was offered. It is probably the only hotel that charges for parking in Orlando. The rooms are clean and nice. Yet the Maid service lacks quality. On many occasions I only received one towel. On the 4 out of 9 days I stayed I received drinking cups they where plastic not glass. They charge you for every service including the safe and WiFi. When I travel to Orlando I will try to avoid this hotel because I would find more value and quality of service at a Holiday Inn Express”

• This hotel was very nice and reasonably priced. It was located very close to Universal Studios.
• Breakfast was a little expensive, but good.

“I would reccomend this hotel to other travelers. The lobby was beautiful and clean, the staff was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and updated. We didn't have a chance to use the pool but it looked nice. I look forward to staying here the next time I come back.”

• The friendliness of the front desk staff!
• The A/C unit in the room was very loud- kept waking me up.

“This hotel was close to Universal Studios and very convenient! We never got in our car the whole time we were there. Took taxis everywhere for $5.00. The first room we checked into had two double beds, but I had reserved one king bed. I called the front desk and after verifying that they had a king available all I had to do was pick up the keys at the front desk and head off to our new room. They were very friendly and apologetic about the mistake. Cannot beat the price or location plus there's a Star bucks in the lobby. The hotel appeared to be very clean. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was a decent size and the hotel provided Neutrogena bath products. We will return here in the future!

• The size of the room. The location was perfect. the accommodations provided (pool, restaurants, etc).
• The price of the hotel restaurant, $50 for breakfast for 2 adults. $12/night for parking. The Jacuzzi was not warm.

“I would recommend this hotel to others and I would stay there again in the future. My biggest complaint was the restaurant prices and the $12/night parking fee.”

“Hotel was nice. We'll worth the price. Hotel is a 10-15 minutes walk to Universal's front gate. Cab ride on the way back cost us $5. Rooms were spacious and bed was very comfy. Great hotel, great price if your planning on a Universal studios vacation, this is the place you want to stay.”

• They give warm cookies when you check in!
• The hallway to our room was very humid and hot.

“This was a great hotel, it was recently refurbished with new linens and decor and it was a very nice hotel to stay at. The shower had high pressure and stayed hot, which was nice after a long day.”

• Had to pay for excessive fee for parking while staying at hotel.

“Convenient to surrounding theme parks but unimpressive for this level hotel. Disappointed to find that we had to pay $12 for parking on top of the hotel price. This hotel also has safety concerns regarding their sprinkler system as there are incorrectly rated sprinkler heads placed throughout and many of them have been painted over. They gave us a key, no cookies and sent us on our way. We were interested to find their view of a handicap accessible bathroom included a vanity that was roughly 4 feet high (I am 5'2 and found it nearly impossible to brush my teeth and keep it in the sink), no mirror less than 5 feet from floor level and the peephole has not been relocated to allow the disabled person to see who is at their door. The next disappointment was that we were supplied with no wash rags.”

• Pool & poolside clean.
• Can't believe they still have a smoking floor. Bad smell.

“Overall room was clean, check in/out was efficient, pool was very nice, towels were available at poolside, just the room was so smoky smelling, it made all my clothes, even in my suitcase, smell like smoke. Didn't ruin our stay, but we don't like cigarette smoke. Other than that, clean and friendly, convenient to everything. Would stay again, just not on the smoking floor.”

“The hotel is very nice but being so close to a theme park it attracts a lot of tour groups who are ready to have a good time. I wished there had been some night time security to enforce quiet hours. A lot of noisy traffic on our floor between 1:00-4:00 AM. Doors slamming and loud conversations. Not a restful night at all.”
