• Free shuttle, parking and breakfast.
• Distance from Disneyland.

“I think the Ayres Inn is a great hotel for your money. The hotel was very clean and the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel for families traveling to Disneyland. Hotel does not have fancy restaurant dining or expensive fitness center. However, it meets all our need for our trip to Disneyland.”

• Location was good.
• Two times we had to get new keys.

“The only bad experience was that late at night another guest tried to get in our room because the hotel staff had given him our room. He went back to get a staff member and they, to their surprise, found our family in the room and were quite apologetic. I would have been very upset had I been traveling solo.”

• We left our DVD player in the room and they overnighter it w/o any questions.
• Small room for 5 people.

“We tried to get a bigger room, but they didn't have one available. We had 5 people in a King room with a pull out couch, even with the small space the stay was enjoyable. Overall good stay.”

• The lobby was quite beautiful, rooms very comfy, stylish.
• The room and bathroom are too small for all the furniture. TV stations didn't come in well.

“The hotel was quite nice with an inviting lobby. I didnt' get to eat in the restaurant but it looked like a nice place. The rooms were a bit small including the bathroom, but they were furnished nicely. Located on a busy road right next to a mall. Lots of places to eat and visit.”

• More far way from Disneyland than I expected (not the hotel's fault).

“This hotel features a hot complementary breakfast daily and transportation to local attractions with mandatory reservation of the transportation at the front desk. Clean and quiet it is close to many Anaheim attractions, but far from the hustle and bustle of Disneyland (2 miles).”

• It was a convenient location for Disney and the hotel had a shuffle that helped tremendously.
• They finish 9 a.m. prompt for breakfast; they should still say 9 a.m. but clear up at 9:15 as late arrivals do not get to finish breakfast.

“I recommend this hotel for any age for family. The rooms were very welcoming and the service was good, they had a shuttle to Disney or to greyhound if you needed to get to Universal. The pool was clean. Wonderful.”

• The staff were very friendly and helpful with directions.
• While the hotel was clean and attractive it did need some updating. It looked a little well used.

“I was very satisfied with this hotel. It is clean, comfortable, staffed by friendly helpful people and they served a better than average complimentary breakfast. The fitness room was adequate but small and without weights. The hotel could use a little updating as it looked a little worn. For the price it was a good value.”

“We loved our stay at this hotel. It was worth every penny and it was a great start to our vacation. The staff was very professional and friendly. We especially appreciated Pam who assisted us at check in. She went above and beyond her duty. We truly loved our stay and will be back.”

• Able to hear a lot of noise from adjacent rooms.

• Weekday breakfast stopped at 9:00am.

“The room was not what we booked when we first got there; the staff quickly changed our room to what we booked even though the hotel was pretty full. The breakfast was great! Too bad we didn't know the hours for breakfast changed on Monday, our last day as we missed having it.”

• The room itself was very roomy, we didn't feel cramped.
• There was no microwave available and no high speed access.

“Overall the hotel, although not close the Disney was a choice we did not regret. It was quiet, and the morning breakfast offered a lot of different choices beyond the usual fruit and cereal. We enjoyed the night we stayed there and would do so again.”

“The hotel accomodations were very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful-they are a great asset to travelers unfamiliar to the area. The lounge is cozy and inviting, the room decor was very nice. I was very pleased with these accomodations.”

• They are rude and unaccommodating.

“We stayed here. I made a reservation for 3 but they said they were only given one for 2. They were not able to put me in a different room. I ended up having to sleep on the floor. We were then charged for the extra person. I was NOT informed when I checked in that there would be an extra charge. I was informed, when I check out, that they accommodated us and the charge is because of the extra person and that person ate the "included" breakfast. They extra person was a child. They charged me for the privilege of sleeping on the floor. They have breakfast "included" but that is why we got charged. We did not even eat one day because the food was so awful. The staff there is very unfriendly. They had the attitude that they could not care less. I would NOT recommend this chain to anyone, unless you like to be treated like trash!”

• They were very unaccommodating and rude.
• I made res. for 3 gave a room for 2, charged me extra to sleep on floor.

“This was the most unfriendly and unaccommodating hotel I have ever stayed at. I made a res. for 3 people. They said I made it only for 2. They could not give me a room for 3, wanted to charge me for another room and then have 2 children sleep in that room by themselves! I ended up sleeping on the floor. When I checked out, I found out that I got charged for the extra person. They charged me to sleep on the floor and they DID NOT even have the courtesy to tell me when I checked in that there would be an extra charge. The "manager" on duty, Maria, ARGUED with me that they accommodated me and because the extra person ate, we got charged. We did not even eat one day because the food was aweful. I will NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone. ”

• Bad location, average accommodations and service, shuttle service was inconvenient

“I was disappointed that the hotel was in Orange, not Anaheim like I had requested. When I checked out the hotel's website, it look very elegant, but when we checked in, it was a very average hotel. The shuttle service to Disneyland was very inconvenient, and our room was next to an outside door that slammed very loudly and woke us up. The redeeming factor of this hotel was their free breakfast.”

• Loud Guests till 4am Security finally removed them

“Pleasant Hotel, Shuttle service in Am TO Disneyland But no service afternoon, service again at 5pm Shuttle usually crowded. Breakfast could use some variety and less over ripe bananas. Over all good experience.”

• The European style continental breakfast was great!! Shower heads are nice and high to accommodate tall people.
• TV stations limited. Hard to access driveway from the street.

“Definitely meets the 2.5 star rating. Considerably clean appearance. Had many entrances from the parking lot making access to car easy. Close to The Block". Very impressed by the breakfast in the mornings. That made the entire stay worth it."”

• The hotel was stylish, and very comfortable to stay in.
• On our last night there the hotel staff asked our party if they were guests and asked them for their room # and key they also called our rm to confirm

• Hotel did not seem real secure, doors to hotel were never locked, trouble with room doors shutting properly.

• Front desk and shuttle staff was very helpful.
• Even though we had a non smoking room, there were smokers around us.

“The location of the Ayres Inn Orange is not really that close to Disneyland, but there is a free shuttle and a great mall right across the street. The complimentary breakfast was very good and the front desk staff and shuttle drivers were very friendly and helpful.”
