• Candle wood Cupboard provided very convenient meals, snacks, and refreshments and included free laundry facilities.

“The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The facility was very quiet and in a quiet location. The Candle wood Cupboard was a plus. The room was very comfortable and had the necessities needed for an extended stay. I found the hotel to meet my needs extremely well.”

• The hotel is on a side street but nearby to main streets.
• The door was difficult to open & close due to the missing sticker plate.

“I was very comfortable at the hotel since I have stayed several times at Candlewood Suites & they are all alike. Everything in my room was very adequate. The fitness center was quite limited on equipment but served my needs. The facility was clean.”

• It would have been nice to be able to have 2 beds but all rooms only had 1.

“This hotel was ok and if I would have been by myself and staying for several days it would have been fine but with 2 people and only staying one or 2 nights it would have been nice to have 2 bed instead of 1.”

• Full Kitchens and Good location if you have a car.
• Not the easiest to get to (not terrible though). Limited amenities.

“We asked and got 3 rooms easily and we had a baby with us so the refrigerator, microwave, and spacious room really helped out. The word suite is used a little loosely in that it's all just one room, but there is a stove/fridge/microwave/dishwasher. There is no pool, but there is a fitness room and they have the candlewood cupboard which allows you to purchase food/drink items at a lower price than vending machines. The bathroom door opens inward and almost touches the counter, so it is a little odd and could be tough for disabled/elderly people, but it should be ok. The location is pretty good. It's not close to downtown and you wouldn't walk anywhere from the hotel, but it's right off of Dodge and I-680 so you can easily get anywhere in Omaha. We did a lot of driving around town and had no issues. Overall, I'd recommend staying here for sure.”

“I found this hotel to be well placed near dining, alcohol, coffee, and movie rental establishments yet far enough from loud traffic and other noises. I will definitely be back to that specific location.”

• The room had a kitchenette and a TV/VCR/DVD, it was just the right size and very quiet.
• The attendant wasn't always at the desk.

“The rooms are a bit small, but nice, the pantry feature is great, like a mini grocery store. I loved the fact that the room had a VCR/DVD player, allowed for a wonderful experience with being able to relax for the weekend and just watch movies. The rooms were quiet, and the gym was nice, overall it was an excellent stay and an excellent value.”

“Good hotel for the cost. The room was very clean and really nice. They even give you complimentary popcorn and a can of pop. The only thing I didn't really like was the really small hotel lobby and the fact that there wasn't someone sitting at the desk. We had to wait a while and then end up calling someone just to check in. But it was a very good hotel for the money and a very good location.”

• Location is just weird, internet connection is junk.

“For the most part this hotel is pretty decent for the money you pay. The pictures of the room online are taken at some odd angle which causes the rooms to look bigger than they actually are but its big enough for my needs. They have hotel provided dinner every Wednesday (burgers/hot dogs/pizza/etc). The one downside to this hotel is the internet connection is complete trash. If you are like me and do a lot of work online i.e. connecting back to your office 800 miles away then you might as well just give up. I got a better connection to my home office in Ohio from a small Greek isle in the med than I can from this place. Luckily there is panera bread not too far away that you can use.”

• The bed was fairly comfortable.
• The hotel smelled bad and was dirty and service was not friendly.

“Our stay at this hotel was poor at best. We arrived and were given a non-smoking room that smelled like it was smoked in for 10 years. My wife is pregnant and the smell made her sick, so I went immediately to the front desk and requested a different room. The man complied, but was not very friendly about it. The new room was better, but it still had a funny smell about it that stayed in our clothes after we left. The floor in the hallways and stairways looked like it had not been vacuumed in a month or more. The location of the place was not very good and we would not have felt safe walking around near the hotel.”

• I like the fully equipped kitchen; also that it had movies to watch.
• The cleanliness of the room was very poor. There was hair on the bed and in several different places in the bathroom, also there wasn't a pool.

• Fully equipped kitchenette, very comfortable bed (pillow top) with quality bedding and pillow.
• Location is out of the way. They only have 1 bed rooms, no doubles.

“Having the kitchen is very handy. Size of room is comfortable. There's only 1 queen bed, so had to pay 10 extra for rollaway (there was 3 of us). The pantry is handy but expensive. The beds and pillows are great quality, so get a good nights' sleep. Location is a bit hard to find, especially if you are not from the area.”

• The large closet was great.
• The room was a bit smaller than expected.

“We enjoyed our stay. There was no restaurant, but the "Cupboard" provided quite an adequate supply of food until we had the time to go out for a meal at a near-by restaurant. They also had video rentals available. I would stay there again.”

“This hotel does not provide maid service and if you want clean towels or linens you have to take your dirty linen to the front desk and exchange them yourself and make you own bed. I think that should be something they advertise up front.”

• Staff was helpful, room was very clean and comfortable.
• Had to call front desk about curtains. Pillows are uncomfortable. Air conditioner is very noisy and kicks on and off every 10 minutes.

“The facility is clean and well kept. Location is a little hard to find, I have no idea why they built the hotel in the middle of an office park! The staff person went out of his way to help. I spent a sleepless night (because of too much light from the window) not knowing there was a curtain and not knowing how to turn the air conditioner off.”
